Country Club Apartments

The perfect equilibrium of cost and quality here in Toledo. After searching all over metro-Toledo, Country Club is the best bang for your buck. It’s nice to be able call this place home. The staff here are helpful, knowledgeable, and proficient. Maurice and Kimberly assisted by the property manager helped me become a resident here and the two maintenance gents have been wonderful. Having central a/c has been Godsend. Don’t fall for wall units etc as advertised by other properties. They are not as efficient when dealing with the Toledo weather; tthe lake effect is real out here. Look no further, Country Club Toledo is where you’ll need to call home

I have lived here for a year with my puppy and we have absolutely loved every minute of it. The home is spacious and the Office staff is amazing! Jody moved me in and Mike was fantastic also. The new staff in the office is extremely friendly and willing to help.

The maintenance men are very kind and helpful. They go out of their way and my dog has built a great bond with them all.

I’ve lived in several apartments around Toledo and Country Club is by far the best. The property has high end amenities, the best staff, and an affordable price. Feels like home!

My upstairs neighbor had a pipe leaking into my bathroom ceiling earlier this week. I called the office and spoke with Kim who immediately sent the maintenance crew to check it out. All of the maintenance guys are great and the two dispatched to my issue, Ron and Cody, were communicative and respectful, making sure to remove their shoes at my door. The leak was repaired and Kim even followed up with me later that day to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. Everyone who works here makes it so I never want to leave!

I commend our Country Club property manager for their responsiveness and proactive approach to addressing our concerns. Their welcoming demeanor and excellent communication skills have also fostered positive experiences for my referrals. Their kindness, approachability, and compassion are truly appreciated.

Well maintained apartments. Been living here about a year. They've handled any issue I've had and we're really good about adding pets to my lease.

Apartment is too small for what you pay for. Smells like pot, walls thin, super loud. Management will not help you when someone takes your car port. & speed bumps so bad that no matter how slow you go your car will get messed up. Major potholes everywhere. Counters & walls nasty, paint peeling everywhere. You can make this look cute but not worth it!

They have a great and accomodating friendly staff..they have also great amenities and fast processing of your application.

Management are very accomodating and maintenance people are always there help.

I've lived here 7 years without any issues. Maintenence does a great job with repairs. Grounds are well kept. Office staff has always been helpful and respectful. I love my 2 bedroom, 2 bath.

There have been so many issues with this apartment it is unreal. When we initially moved in the place was filthy. No cleaning had been done from the previous renter and nothing was updated or fixed. The stove and dryer are ancient. The oven sets off the fire alarm every time it is used. The dryer leaks oil or grease and ruins our clothes. Maintenance came to fix it once after weeks of complaining and they did not even fix the problem because it still gets black grease all over our clothes. There was an infestation of bugs coming up from the floorboards in our pantry and pest control didn't come until a week later. When I complained about this I was essentially blamed for the problem when I was told that maybe I had brought the bugs in from the grocery store. The carpet here is disgusting and has bald patches. The window in our kitchen doesn't even fit in the frame. All of the screens on the windows have holes in them and so bugs get in every time the windows are open. We also had issues with adjusting our rent. The office was extremely unhelpful and gaslight me until I cried when I was trying to get our rent to reflect the amount we were told we would be paying. The lack of help around here is so frustrating and no one is even apologetic when you present concerns or have issues. I cannot wait to be done with my lease here. Please save yourself the trouble and do not live here. Seriously do not live here you will be miserable.

Friendly management, clean property, QUIET place to live. Very peaceful. Only comments that I would work on or add to web site is more accurate floor plans not all floor plans shown had to keep some furniture in storage because it was smaller then I expected but all in all it was a good moving experience. This is one of Toledo's hidden gems.

The walls are so thin, I can hear everything when my door is shut, there might as well not be a door to my room. Theres holes in the walls in the corner where bugs come through, and I've watched it happen myself. I had to tape it myself because ants were coming in through my bathroom and theres also holes in the bedroom walls in the corners. They said they put in "new" carpet when we moved in yet you can literally lift it up in almost every room and see the concrete underneath. It was not properly laid down at all, I could've done it myself. They've been doing roofing and it started at 7:30am and has been nonstop pounding for days now I can't sleep in or get anything done which has just been so frustrating. We had people over and they had to crawl out of our patio over the fence. They left a disaster outside of our front door to the point we couldn't even go outside of it. It's not updated whatsoever everything just seems so old. Our heat went out in the winter and they gave us 2 mini heaters and fixed it after an entire weekened went by. It also is annoying having only one covered parking spot per apartment and having to search for one at night when someone parks in it who doesn't even live with you. There needs to be some kind of help when that happens. There's a huge draft in our living room because the windows basically just let in so much cold air and they told us to tape around it. Just a very frustrating experience for us.

The apartments themselves are neglected. Their staff is rude and has minimal reading comprehension skills.

This is a great place to live! The property is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is prompt and skilled. The neighbors are quiet. The gym was just redone and has newer equipment. We have a washer and dryer in the unit so that’s a great amenity. Overall I’ve been very happy with my experience here. Every property has its ups and downs and there’s things you have to deal with while living in an apartment. I feel like the staff has made my experience the best they can! They’re very quick to get issues resolved.

The apartment is great, able for me and my family to live very comfortable. Washer and dryer work great, as does the dishwasher. We’ve had a great experience living here thus far, 9 months. Also our 3rd apartment, the best one yet.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Management and maintenance are both horrible. They don’t care about their residents. They give you 16 hours windows of which they can enter at any time. They take MONTHS on repairs trying to avoid doing them. OH and their office ladies are ghetto! They use to have such nice staff but the new management is HORRIBLE! I CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT OF THIS DUMP Update: 3 months later and they have stated they’re entering 3 more times. There’s no option for them not to enter. Best yet their latest entrance notice didn’t even specify what work they will be completing, it just stated that they will be “inspecting”. They also said they will be in around 10 am but this notice was not present on my door today at 10am, I did leave at that time so that is 100% fact. They don’t even give full 24 hr notice, as required by the law. The office staff is the WORST, please save yourself the headache and go live anywhere but here! Oh and about the company giving an email to contact, you can contact but they won’t reply so them pretending to care is all to appeal to those who do not live here. Once you live here they can care a less about you

Whatever you do, do not live here. This is my fourth apartment, and the absolute worst out of all of them, both in terms of quality and leasing office staff. My problems started on day 1. 1) The leasing office was unaware that I was moving in, despite talking to them on the phone just a week prior. They had not prepared a lease, cleaned my carpets, and most likely more that they did not tell me. 2) My stovetop was missing drip pans that took over a month to receive, and it took almost 3 months to actually have 4 complete sets. 3) I have had flying insects in my apartment since I moved in and the leasing office has not informed me of a follow up appointment with the exterminator that should have happened ~3 weeks ago. The insects have returned in that time. 4) They are most likely from the carpets that still have not been cleaned since I moved in 3 months ago. I should not have to wait over 3 months for clean carpets when that should have been taken care of before I even moved to Toledo. 5) My friend who lives at the front of the complex has mice and was told it would take over a week for someone to take care of the problem. 6) The 2 pools did not open until after July 4th, management said this was from "rain". 7) Potholes from last winter are just now starting to be filled in, it's late August. 8) Do not be fooled by the pictures. The gym is horrible--smells awful and half of the weights have been stole. The tennis courts need to be power washed and have weeds growing from the cracks. Whenever I, or any of my neighbors, calls the leasing office we are told that they cannot possibly get to our requests because the list is too long. My next door neighbor was even told he "hit his limit for complaints". I have never lived anywhere where management is so rude and cares so little. My friend is contemplating breaking her lease to not have to deal with Country Club anymore.

Do not live here if you enjoy air conditioning in the summer time. I've put in a maintenance request a week back and nobody has been out to look at my AC despite the 90 degree temperatures the last week. The manager refuses to talk to me even though I have called and been into the office three times and seems to think that because they are "busy" that exempts them from talking to tenants. They also don't feel this is an emergency situation even though it lists in my lease that it's a violation of my leasing agreement to allow the internal temperature of my apartment to go over 85 degrees, it's been as high as 91 degrees in my apartment during the day. I know I am not the only one who has had this problem. AC issues are a constant struggle for a lot of tenants and that is a big reason why they have empty units. We also still do not have our pool open and it is July 1st. They are lazy, incompetent and unprofessional with a bogus leasing agreement that allows them to not fix your appliances.

Lived here for a year an absolutely can’t stand it!! No matter what the problem is they can’t come to fix it. Never cut the grass, and the pool was supposed to be open Memorial Day weekend and it still isn’t. Terrible at maintenance and up keep, 0/10 recommend...

I would not recommend living here. New management is terrible! Walls are paper thin. So, unless the apartments surrounding you are vacant, don't expect to get a good nights sleep. Most of the appliances are outdated and work poorly, actually some of the updated ones still work poorly. Our dryer took several cycles to dry a small load and their fix was to rig it so that the exhaust blows back into the apartment. So I'd add black mold to the list here soon as the walls/windows are extremely moist after drying a single load. Not to mention you pay the same price whether the apartment is updated/has updated appliances or is not updated and has appliances from the WWII era. Good luck. Proceed with caution :)

Absolutely horrible experience. The complex is always undergoing a change in management. Had a first floor unit with a tenant upstairs who was always loud. The ceiling above me was thin. To make things worse, we had raccoons stuck in the space in the ceiling and property management could not get them out. On top of that.. they would run around at night clawing on the ceiling. Great experience. Had a massive water leak in the ceiling (raccoons?) and it took them forever to fix it. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this complex.
