My experience with the cottonwoods have been the best. I have the apartment I wanted. The maintenance people come when you call them. I would highly recommend them.
I like my apartment here it's a good place to live and in one direction it's on a few minutes from St.Louis city and in the other direction it's just a few minutes from South St.Louis county, and other nearby highways. it has a the convince of Laundry facility on site and Neighbors that are friendly.Quick responses to Maintenance Requests.
The manager Cici in the office was nice and professional. Although they didn't have an apartment for me to move into now, but she assured me to call back within a few months and they would have an apartment available.
Management here has been very responsive and friendly which has made living here a smooth experience.

Great property ! The leasing manager Melissa is amazing , Josh and Mark The owners are also super amazing. I had a work injury that required me to miss work and find a job suitable for me to operate with my hand . They worked with me and didnt throw me and my babies out like every other slam lord would have done. After i get caught up on my payments i am buying thank you gifts for the whole management team ! I am a mother and a hard worker and Melissa understood my circumstances! Josh and Mark are working wonders to get this property together. But it also takes the community to work together and make our complex a better place !
After 6 years here I was about to move until the new owners took over this year (2018) now it's a great place to live! Can't wait until the new laundry facility is built. I wanted to personally thank Josh (one of the new owners) for removing the bad tenants next to me. I think I will sign a lifetime lease here :)
I been in Cahokia for 14 some odd years In the Cottonwoods is the most beautiful apartments I have ever seen they are nice inside in out I wish I could move in there for a chance to win free rent for life. To the people that on the cottonwoods you guys did a wonderful job on the streets in may God Keep blessing you. Have a wonderful day...
Not the best, the neighbors are nosy and creepy. The landlord makes promises that's not fulfilled. They a bad infestation of ant, rolly pollys, and spiders. When I took it to the landlords attention she gave me a bomb, apparently most attendants where having this issue. She said if that didn't work I could buy bug stuff at walmart. Great location next to food and stores.
