I have lived here over a month and I’m in love!! The apartments are large and well maintained. The community amenities are beautiful. The property and grounds are well taken care of. The apartments are pretty quiet too as they are not made out of wood like all the other newer construction apartments I went to see. The area is amazing!! With Cranes Roost Park a few steps away. Walk to Whole Foods, Ulta, Petco, and so many other shops. I love parking my car in the garage instead of it baking out in the sun. I highly recommend!!!

The maintenance responds quickly and helps fix things no later than 1-2 days after requested. They are also very friendly. The front office staff is very friendly as well.

I recently just moved into this beautiful community with my roommate, and we have been blown away by the customer service and welcoming demeanor the office team demonstrates. We moved in the week of them celebrating residents' appreciation week and every day we were showered by them, from breakfast on the go to free pizza slices. But what stood out the most was the fun pool party they put together for the residence's this past Saturday! They served us amazing food, drinks and played some fun games in the sun. It was extremely hot out there but every time I looked their way they were smiling and engaging with every resident. I am so happy we decided to move into Cortland Uptown Altamonte because within a week I truly feel appreciated by the team here. I am absolutely loving my new home!

We moved in before the construction began. It was a great location, a nice view, things to walk to, decent amenities, and even though it was an older style, it was our overall favorite. For about the last year, the building has been doing all sorts of construction projects: every hallway, amenity, unit etc. Maybe in a few years it will be a nice place to live, but if you move in for the foreseeable future, get used to beeping, banging, dirt, closed amenities, and construction workers 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. They also have a huge turnover of office staff. They seem to be different every 6 months. They've all been nice, but I don't think that's a good sign... Would not recommend. Move into a newer building.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Lovely community and friendly staff. We weren’t able to tour the gym and clubhouse due to the construction but the photos on the website kendre showed us were outstanding With apartments being built all in the aaltamonte area we could go anywhere but kendre sold us with his personality and customer service

This team is phenomenal! I’ve only been here a couple of months, yet I’ve already stated many times that I’m ready to renew my lease. I especially love how I can walk to just about anything I need or want; it gives the vibes of its own little city with amenities such as the mall, shopping, groceries, and restaurants in walking distance. Despite the construction in the area and within the building as renovations are in progress, I still find comfort in my home. My only complaint is the construction that took place during the week just before Christmas which limited access points to the complex. I struggled many times with lost packages, inability to get in and out of my apartment freely, we had to remove decorations at our door to allow for renovations to take place, and it presented a big hassle. I wish this were saved until after the holiday season when people weren’t traveling and/or hosting visitors as often. Other than that hiccup, everything else has been fantastic!

Looking for a new place and stumbled upon this beauty in Altamonte. I walked in and Andrea was able to accommodate me and my husband and we toured a renovated 2 bedroom. The clubhouse on the 7th floor is beautiful i hope to soon call this my new home

Recently moved out of this property due to a multitude of issues. It is not maintained, hallways and common areas are frequently dirty, amenities such as the pool, gym, and clubhouse were frequently down and unavailable. Neighborhood and apartments are noisy at all hours, management does not enforce quiet hours. Security is a joke, the courtesy officer never responds, most of the time you're reliant on calling police non-emergency if you want anything done. Security tap points don't work, people can enter as they please, there was a homeless person living in the clubhouse from Nov '22 to Jan '23. Cameras don't work so there is no accountability for resident breaking the rules or doing things such as dealing drugs out of the 5th floor. Mamagement does not follow up with you, they frequently "forget" anything verbally agreed upon and even if it's in writing they do the same. Austin at the front desk is straight up rude and a liar. We were told there was no need for a walk through prior to moving out and that we would recieve an email not any damages assessed and time to dispute. We never recieved such an email and instead were just sent our deposit $100 short with no communication or explanation. There are countless other properties in the area for less that you would be better off at. I regret ever renting from this place.

We also regret only hearing any of your dissatisfactions without any opportunity to address your concerns and improve your living experience. We've always ensured that we do our best to communicate with our residents via our weekly newsletter with any notifications, updates or areas of opportunity. If an amenity was ever closed down, we ensure that we let everyone know the reason for closure and expected date set to reopen. I would like to clarify that there was no homeless person living in the clubhouse for that time. Unfortunately, these were false rumors that were spread, such as dealing drugs. Please understand that these types of false statements negatively affect our reputation as they are simply not true. After speaking with you, it was understood there was a misunderstanding on Austin's behalf. We understand this was an inconvenience and a misunderstanding, but there was in fact an email sent with your final bill explaining the final charges for your water bill. Water bills are always billed in rears so you're not paying for the actual month. All residents upon move out, will have to pay that final water bill, catching you up to your date of move out. As soon as your account is closed, the email with your final charges is automatically sent out as well as, a paper statement which takes a little longer via mail. I have lived on this property for just about 9 years and you can't beat the location, you can walk for everything you need, I feel special living here and I have made this my home obviously for me to have stayed this long. I was very concerned about the change of ownership and what that would mean to me and this management team has turned out to be very special, great, caring, compassionate people and that's the kind of people you want in charge of your home! I love living in this area, The movie theater, Mall, shopping center and whole foods are in walking distance. The apartments are very well maintained. And no roaches, for this area that's a huge plus. Overall I have had a great experience it's a little pricey but it's probably worth it.

It is that stressful time of the year where I have to start looking for a place to move to. Moving has always been a stressful process but coming to Cortland and having Justin help me and guide me through the process has been a breath of fresh air. I stopped by cortland uptown to view there 2 bedrooms 2 bath floor plans and I was very impressed by the energy from the staff the moment I entered the building. The maintenance personnel all greeted me and the associate which assisted me stood up immediately to greet me. Justin showed me the community and answered all my questions. He even went as far as reviewing some near by cortland communities and some of there features. Amazing hospitality. The community was very clean and the homes were very spacious. Amazing experience.

Manager is awful and never seems to care. How fast can he get out of the slums? Place is filthy and crime continues to happen from break ins to apartment and cars. Hallways, elevators are disgusting.

Says it all. Older build and worn looking. Manager shows very little interest in upkeep of the building as well as neighborhood issues such as speeding cars, all night long, & every night. His typical response is ‘it’s not my problem’ There is better out there. Newer buildings at same rental range.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to express your opinion. Lofts is an icon of Uptown Altamonte & is an established community with very high resident retention. Our building is constructed with solid concrete & offers a controlled access parking garage with direct entry in addition to our top floor residents lounge as just a highlight of our amenities. As we have been in the community for over a decade we have made some refreshes including a cycle room, upgrading interior hallway carpeting, repainting the building inside and out, adding a new BBQ Grill courtyard & more. We have upgraded our package receiving program too. Rents remain competitive with the market and we have an excellent team. Changes can be challenging, but we hope that our residents will fid them enjoyable as they are enhancements to the community. Regarding speeding cars on the roads around the community, this would be a concern to address with local officials, as we do not police these roads. Thank you!
They call themselves a luxury apartment, however when you first move in things are great then you start to see the real deal. Hallways inside have carpet in which they use to keep spotless and the hallways were clean and always smelled great. Not anymore. Several issues with 1 garbage compactor so you get gnats in hallways and your apartment! Parking is ridiculous as they had cars in the garage that didn’t belong here. Put an orange sticker on it and it sits there. Nothing is ever done with it or enforced. New Property Mgr is less than to be desired. To your face most of the time he is pleasant, other times he is confrontational and will talk over you. Will not let you ask questions or concerns without him cutting you off. So called security is a joke. They have a Courtesy Officer that is onsite but they are not defined as Security Officers. What’s the point? Supposed to be secured building but once your in the garage, you can get into the building. That’s not a secured building to me. Will not accept any packages you receive like they used to advertise on their amenities or services. It’s now outsourced to a company “Fetch” which has the worse reviews! Save yourself the time and effort and look somewhere else. Because after you sign on the dotted line, all the rules will change and the Community Manager will tell you they have the right to change the terms of the lease at anytime.

This is the worst place to live. Loud all the time. Dirty hallways, small pool, small gym and very outdated apartments. If your looking for a college dorm atmosphere this is the place for you!
