Moved here in December of 2024 I've had minor issues and were all resolved in a timely manner.. Had a couple run-ins with some wildlife but nothing too scary Neighbors are quiet and respectful More lighting around the gym/mailbox area would be great

The Cortland Mirror Lake community is a dream. It offers peaceful environments for families, and events for the community to meet and greet. We are so happy to be here and expect our stay to be longer than planned because of how great we feel here.

Quiet community. Mindful neighbors. Always felt safe. Best rental experience I've had.
I am so glad to be here. The location is perfect for me and my lifestyle. I really enjoy the pool and coffee available in the office.
Management and office team are really helpful and friendly. The maintenance team is also very knowledgeable and have excellent standards for servicing requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Cortland Lake Is a beautiful community with lovely amenities. The service from the leasing office is good. Service request are fulfilled in a timely manner. My only complaint is the noise levels from upstairs neighbors for example which may be a result of the infrastructure and I would advise anyone to choose the location of their apartment keeping this in mind. The leasing office will try to address any concerns or complaints. Overall, Cortland Mirror Lake has been great so far.
Cortland Mirror Lake is a nice community. It’s everything that I’ve hoped for. Great management team, decent neighbors, and nice amenities. I would certainly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to live.

Stay away. I’ve lived in multiple apartment complexes, and usually when it’s a big chain corporation, the customer service quality drops through the floor. Place looks nice but not worth the headache

the landscape is pretty the issues in the apartment keep growing and the services are getting less effective. Leasing office guys are excellent but corporate keeps giving them hard times to then due to really high increases in rent while there is little to no benefits from it. When you ask why the price went so high for no reason, the answer is that is the market. The issue is that with a really high increase in price, you usually spect a benefit from it, but in this case, nothing changed. If you are considering moving to this place prepare for a bitter-sweet experience, again leasing office people are great but the prices and rapidly growing issues in the apartment are making it not worth it.

Although the apartments are somewhat renovated, it’s still an old community that needs work done to make it competitive and comparable to other complexes in the area. There are a lot of standards that renters are asked to live up to, so renters should expect to receive those same level of standards in return. Also, the community spent money on putting in a new gate system that is extremely inefficient and doesn’t even work at least 50% of the time. I watch at least 10 cars get through the gate at one time once one car opens the gate. What is the point of having a gated community if it provides literally no security to the complex? Anyone off the street can draft behind an actual community member to get in the gate. There’s also been problems in the past with key fobs not working in the gym, the water seems to get shut off for repairs every month, and we lose power every time the wind blows too hard. Everything looks nice marketed from the outside, but living here and paying what we pay having to deal with all the issues over and over again almost makes it not worth it.

We are working diligently to resolve these frustrations with the gate and currently have traffic through it under a sensor. In some rare instances, we may need to turn off water, but always do our best to inform residents beforehand. If water needs to be turned off due to an emergency, we may not be able to give that notice, but will still always do our best to communicate appropriately to our residents and address the issue in a timely manner to minimize frustrations. Overall my experience here is Okay I love the community the maintence of the apartment is top priority for me secondly would be the apartment however the walls are very thin and the front office team are unprofessional anytime I have a problem I have to reach the property manager in order to get things done .

Cortland is the perfect place to be if you dont want tobe bothered and visitors have to notify you before they come in. I like the privacy and the peace and quiet. The leasing office staff really take care of you. Kudos to Daniel for being my help when I needed it. Cortland is close to everything right on the county line between orange and seminole. I have been living here for 5 years now and is a great place to live. The staff are super nice and listen to the residents. Management is always happy to help. Also anytime I need something repaired they take care of it fast.

This community is so beautiful! The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and so close to so many great food places. It's not too far from Orlando either which makes this place even more appealing! The office staff is nice and helpful and we feel at peace here.

Wayyyyu to expensive for the little they’re offering. The amenities are ALWAYS closed for days because they can’t fix it or they’re waiting on the parts. They have insect problems as well.

Cortland Mirror Lake is a great community for anyone who appreciates quality service in addition to living in an attractive apartment. The community team is professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. All issues (no matter how minor) are taken care of promptly. And the amenities like the pool, gym, and trail are the cherry on top.
