The Lodge Bellevue

I have lived here since the apartment complex was Cortland Bellevue and before that Accent. I was pleased with the property and staff at that time. However, since the property management company changed abruptly a few months ago, I've had several issues with how things have been handled as well as safety concerns. A friend's car was broken into on New Year's Eve. I sent an email to the leasing office expressing my concerns and I still have not heard back from them. I also typically get more updates and pertinent information from my Bellevue Facebook group as opposed to what management and the leasing office offers. Long story short, I do not feel safe in my apartment and I'm looking to move when my lease is up.

I just started the leasing process and Cortland Bellevue has been amazing so far. The staff have been so helpful, kind, informative, and quick to answer any questions I may have. Faith was quick to help me reschedule my move-in orientation but still communicate everything that I needed beforehand so I knew what to do. Overall I cannot wait to move in and live in this wonderful community!

My roommate and I love it here at Cortland. They take care of our requests and needs as soon as they can. The community is so clean and beautiful! The entire office is great- but Arkeba is top of the line. She helped us secure our apartment and walk us through all the steps needed for move-in day. Always a pleasure to see her around the complex :)

Maintenance is always quick to respond. I've never felt unsafe. The team at Cortland has always responded really quickly to any questions or concerns I had. The rent is reasonable.

Very friendly staff in the front office. Amenities are decent (the gym specifically could use an update). Nice area with beautiful views. I want to specifically highlight how great the maintenance team is. Nelson G. is absolutely amazing and should be recognized for all he does. He is always so kind, polite, and efficient in his work when he comes by, whether for routine maintenance or a service request. I have really been enjoying my time at Cortland.

I've lived here for the past 3 years, and It's been a good place to live. I work from home sometimes, and it's a nice place to live.

Living at Cortland is like coming home to a resort. Not only is it beautiful and clean, but the community is friendly. It's really a fun place to live!

I have lived at Cortland Bellevue for over a year now. The staff and maintenance crew are friendly. They know my name - and have been quick to help me with an issues I may have had. When my first lease was up I even decided to renew and stay here. The pros of living here outweighed the price of me moving. It's close to work, essential stores and the interstate - which makes commuting more convenient.

This is a wonderful place to live. Beautiful well kept grounds and buildings and excellent service. All of our issues have been taken care of fast and well done. Our apartment is beautiful and the area quiet. I am glad we discovered Cortland Bellevue for our new home.

Overall Cortland Bellevue is just a fabulous residence. Location, the tucked away on a hill surrounded by trees makes one feel as if they live in a vacation area and has a very residential feel to the community. I enjoy it very much and I share my experience with everyone I know.

Quiet, well maintained apartment facility. Safe gated community. Dog friendly and people friendly! Great place to call home!

The management is poor when it comes to upkeep of common areas. There is trash and filth spillage in the common areas, and despite raising it with the management multiple times, there is no action taken to address this issue. Apartment common areas often stink because of this.

I toured two weeks ago and was ready to sign my lease right there. From the time I walked in the door, the staff was super friendly. They even invited me to one of their resident activities!!!! I normally don't leave reviews but since my job start date got pushed back and I don't know when I will be able to apply, I told my leasing person I would help spread the word about my experience. If you are ready for a home, this is the place for you!

Cortland Bellevue has been amazing so far. The staff (leasing, maintenance) have been truly informative, kind, and helpful.

Cortland Bellevue is a nice community to stay at, with a very convenient location and extremely helpful staff.

I moved in about a month ago and I love it so far! The location is great and my apartment is so spacious. Eden and Kayla in the office are very welcoming and always helpful. I had a small maintenance issue, but Jammie was there the same day to resolve it.

Was a resident since 2018 and moved because family needed more space. Loved my time living there, was a great place to live. It came time to move and we sent in the written notice of our move out date at the end of the month when our lease was up. They said ok no problem. Having moved out and turned in keys early as it was when my schedule allowed, then 9 days into the month after leaving i get a bill with late charges because they changed our move out date 8 days into the month without warning. When talking with the staff about it they say i can pay the prorated rent for the 8 days after we moved out or i could pay 2 months rent for leaving early. We followed all their instructions for preparing to move out and this is how they treat long time residents. The staff for a time was amazing and great to hangout with. Parking has become a real issue that if i return home after 5:30 at night there is no parking left near my building and have to park near the office. Gate constantly broken, Trash compactor always broken with a mountain of trash outside of it at the main entrance.

I’ve been a resident here since June of 2022 and I love the community and the atmosphere.

I love living here. I visited many apartments and I feel safe being walking around and being alone. The amenities are awesome as well as the staff and location!

Maintenance team needs to fulfill request more timely and more accurately.

Have lived here since 2018 and if you keep to yourself and are a good neighbor you’ll love it. Office staff does their best and are great humans.

Terrific place to live, but parking can be difficult. They have plans to improve that, though.

I do not recommend this unsafe, unfavorable place to anyone.

I am currently staying with my husband at the Cortland Bellevue and we absolutely love it. The apartments are clean and well taken care of inside and out. The staff is hardworking and very friendly. 10/10 recommend getting a tour here!

Cortland Bellevue is a fabulous neighborhood setting with great amenities and spacious living plans! It’s the best home life experience in Nashville/ Bellevue without owning your self. Even better then owning a condo or home as all your home repairs and appliance replacements are made by Cortland when necessary and something is not working or broken. They are the best!!

Great apartment but make sure you request they shampoo carpets and clean before moving in.

The management team is very professional and friendly. They always remember our name and respond in a quick manner to any problems or questions. The community is clean.

These are the best places to live!! People are so friendly, tucked away place from the noises of downtown but you still have the highway access right outside your door. If you drive 2 miles you will find any store/fast food place you need! All around amazing place to live

Excellent community with first class management that really takes care of your needs when they arise!

Nice place, employees are nice but rent is too high and not enough security have had packages stolen and my truck broken into. The ceiling above the bathroom leaks and we have had maintenance come fix it 3 times and it still leaks very bad. The gate out front is very bad sometimes it don't work properly and anyone can get in if they have patience it is very easy so it is not a safe and gated community. The trash is pretty bad here the needs to be improved for how much we pay to live here. If they could fix those things especially the gate and trash and security it would be a good place but for now 4/10

The cortland community rocks! Ive been having a few issues recently and they are working together with me to find solutions in a timely manner. I appreciate their help in finding a way to make my apartment the best it can be!

This complex grows mold/fungus and it has been a problem for years. After I signed my lease a few of my coworkers warned me that they lived in this complex when it opened years ago and they had issues with mold that management did not take seriously. I lived here for 15 months and after 6 months I did not have any issues until August when the humidity increased and mold and fungus started growing on the fridge, all over my clothes and bags in my closet and under my bed. It took a couple weeks until Cortland got a mold company to come and inspect and I asked the mold technician how many other units he was going to and he said he had multiple others to visit… and mind you I lived on the 2nd floor, not the basement level. All Cortland would pay for was for the mold company to clean my water closet and air vents and gave me a small dehumidifier. They did not wipe down any of the surfaces with mold or fungus growing on my appliances or in my closet. As a result there was damage to the paint on my stove handle because the mold/ fungus kept growing back over and over. I used every gentle cleaner I could but the mold/fungus kept growing. After using a harsher cleaner it affected some of the paint of the oven handle. When I was moving out I asked the head of repairs to inspect the handle and explained the damaged paint only occurred because Cortland would not pay to have my apartment professionally cleaned by the mold company. I was told that I would not be charged to replace the oven handle. After moving out I was invoiced to pay for the handle. I called the office and spoke with Savannah and explained everything. She talked with the head of maintenance who visited my apartment and they denied ever saying I wouldn’t have to pay. The level of unprofessional behavior that Savannah said to me on the phone was ridiculous. I called corporate in Atlanta and they handled the entire situation and took the extra charge off my bill. Do not live here unless you like mold growing on everything you own. —I also turned my keys into Savannah who was the only person in the office the day my lease ended and I got an email the next day from Kaylee asking where my keys were and why they were not turned in… there is lack of communication in that small office if they cannot tell each other that a resident has turned in their keys on time.

I love this complex. Great location, right near the freeway, close to downtown, and a small community. The units are extremely nice and very well maintained. Noise level is low and not a lot of craziness. Really happy with it so far. The staff is phenomenal and extremely friendly and attentive.

I moved to TN by myself without any friends and family and struggled to find somewhere that felt right. I am beyond happy that I moved into cortland and have been here for almost 2 years now. Its clean, modern, and friendly. I feel safe and at home here. It is definitely a fun place to live in your 20s and 30s as a young professional. The staff is amazing and some of the nicest people I know here in TN. 5 stars all around

Living at cortland for almost 2 years now and honestly for the price that I am paying. I expected more. Apartments up the road have 2 pools so that it wouldnt be crowded, their gates actually work, they have security driving around so that people wont break into cars. I heard about a resident being tied up and burglarized a few months back so that is why I have a security system in my home. Im just looking forward to moving out if Im being truly honest. Staffs and management are great!

I was a homeowner for 30 years and moving into an apartment was a big decision. I thought I might stay for a year and then buy a home, but my experience at Cortland has been so positive that I am still here two years later!

I have lived in multiple places around Nashville, but Cortland Bellevue has the most beautiful living space, great location, helpful and friendly staff, all at the best price!! I would 10/10 recommend!

Cortland apartments are beautiful inside and have an upscale feel. Its a super dog friendly community and you will get to know your neighbors quickly and easily at the dog park! The staff is friendly and maintenance is always visible zipping around the complex and helping out. It takes me 15 minutes to commute to my job downtown so you can get there quickly but the Bellevue area has a smaller town feel. Love living here!

I truly feel cared for and that the residents are a huge priority here. Not to mention everything is very clean and new and everyone is so nice!
