Property Ratings at Cornerstone
The apartment management here is S O O O O skeezy. They try to get away with so much stuff and WILL take advantage of you. Left my apartment in pristine condition and only got 1/4th of my security deposit back due to damage that was either extremely minor or that was there when I moved in. Approved my dog before I rescued her, and then after I got her, told her she wasn’t allowed. Didn’t fix things in timely matters, communication didn’t exist, and held things against us that were in no way our fault. Would NOT recommend.
They say a toilet is not necessary. I didn’t have a working toilet for a whole day. My fridge was broken for almost 3 months before they finally decided to replace it. But yet I’m still supposed to pay rent here.
Overall it was a decent overpriced apartment. Dennis & Northern Mangement are a complete joke. They will do anything to screw you out of money, even when you give a proper notice and apartment is left in excellent condition. Washer and dryer didn’t work for over a year before they were finally replaced. The repair man is extremely rude and likes to curse and make you feel uncomfortable. Don’t rent here, save your money!
Priced reasonably for the area. Located within walking distance from nearby schools, parks and supermarkets. Covered parking and heating are included in the rent. The property manager is promptly responsive to maintenance requests, misplaced keys etc. The apartment complex is relatively new compared to the other apartment complexes in town. Driveways are cleared regularly during winter, lawns are well cared for during summer.
