Nestled in the southwestern corner of Missouri, Joplin is a dynamic city with a rich mining heritage. The city features nearly 1,000 acres of parkland, including the world's largest remaining globally unique Chert Glades and the stunning Grand Falls, Missouri's highest continuously flowing waterfall.
Housing options in Joplin range from charming historic homes in the downtown area to modern apartment communities along Range Line Road, the city's primary commercial district. Popular neighborhoods include Royal Heights, Silver Creek, and Sunset Ridge, each offering its own distinct character. Missouri Southern State University and Kansas City University's medical school campus add a collegiate atmosphere, while the city's two major healthcare systems, Freeman Health System and Mercy Hospital Joplin, provide excellent medical care and employment opportunities.

Property Ratings at Copper Point Landing
The manager does an excellent job and is always happy to help residents. The apartments have a beautiful design and look very new. Really recommend living here.
I LOVE living here! My unit is spacious, affordable and well maintained. The management is super friendly and helpful, the theater is a bonus too!!! Totally would recommend this place to anyone in joplin! I’ll be here for years!
The property is nice and spacious, kept clean and is well managed. It's a very family-friendly place to live with a lot of activities to take part of. Tess, the manager, is always super friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend for an affordable AND nice place to live in Joplin, Mo.
I've lived here for nearly nine months now. BEWARE! THEY WILL COME INTO YOUR HOME UNANNOUNCED! This facility has a very weird layout, so depending upon which building you end up in, it will probably change the way you view this review. I for one, live in one of the buildings that is right next to the trash dumpsters, and also closest to the railroad tracks. To explain in further detail, I wasn't aware of just how many trains came thru Joplin until I moved in here. A LOT, and about every 30 minutes to an hour. Second, my building sits directly across from the only dumpsters on the facility, and the management doesn't have the common sense to make sure that they empty said dumpsters during the daytime. No, instead, they come at 3:30 in the morning, and some of these jerks leave the back-up signal on the trash truck for the entire 5 minutes it takes them to empty all three dumpsters. Mind you this is all taking place right outside your bedroom and your kids bedrooms when you're trying to sleep, and they come at least 4-5 times each week to empty the dumpsters. Another thing I kept having issues with, during the summer time, I kept having to move the hoses to keep the grass outside my apartment watered, otherwise it would have all died, in fact half of it did! The management and maintenance staff at this facility obviously do not understand their jobs or they just choose not to do them properly. Shortly after I first moved in, they hired a new woman to help out in the office, and they made a big deal out of it, but she was gone within 6 months, so something obviously went down! The maintenance man that was here when I first moved in has also been replaced, by one that is a jerk and barged in on me in my underwear here recently UNANNOUNCED! The property manager is nice, but she doesn't seem to be working out at this position, and I'm not sure that she knows how to do the job properly, or perhaps she is just not closely supervised enough. Perhaps they need more staff, I don't know, but I know I would never rent from here again, nor would I recommend any of my friends or family rent here!
We went from a 4br 2ba house to a 3br 2ba apt and it’s worked out great. Our 3 kids love having a pool and playground and it’s the perfect location if you work in central Joplin. The management is friendly & if you’re looking for a nice place to live this is definitely a good place to check out. People that are leaving bad reviews on here probably don’t pay their rent on time. This is a great place for anyone from college kids to families and even single adults. It’s a good environment and as far as the codes on the doors changing that’s a routine thing so that people who are not supposed to have them cannot get into secure areas. If people are good tenants than they shouldn’t have any issues. The grounds are kept up and any trash that accumulates by the dumpsters is done around trash day and is because sometimes people don’t throw it into the dumpster. That is in no way a reflection of the management or owners. I love the activities they do for the kids and special things like during Halloween by having a costume contest & party. It’s just a nice place. I also love the security cameras. Come check it out for yourself!!!!
I absolutely loved this apartment! Very spacious for just myself. The new manager is very friendly and easy to talk to. Loved the movie theater they had! If I ever move back to Joplin I would rent from them again.
