There are so many new complexes in the area that people always want to move to. I find the important aspects of this community are very good. The floor plans, the pool, the gym etc. are just as good. New Wi-Fi and TV will be welcomed.

I've loved living here for 4 years. The staff is great and my apartment has been great. They have been doing various upgrades so it has gotten a bit noisier with construction and landscaping.

Nice location, nice people, nice apartments. Only dislikes is the cable/wifi package required to enroll. Also some of the 1 bedroom Floorplan have no door in the bedroom.

Nice community and great people. Parking is crazy if you don’t have a reserved spot. I think pest control can be kept up better. Most events held at the clubhouse are doing times when I’m at work so I miss all events we have and wish it was done later not midday.

Facility is ok. Location of the complex does not give you a lot of freedom and makes you very car dependent. Plan extra time for Maintenance requests and the office staff is unfortunately not helpful.

Mice!

MICE MICE MICE! Do not recommend! Once you move in you’re basically moved down the list of importance to the level of a 3rd class citizen. Noisy neighbors, horrific parking, stolen packages, office business phones that (conveniently) rarely work so you can’t contact property management easily, office staff that don’t even to pretend that you’re anything but an inconvenience because they have the far more important task of bringing in new residents, and to top it off…now mice running rampant through my apartment. I keep an exceptionably clean home, yet here we find ourselves, and office management basically doesn’t care. I had to bring a dead mouse in a ziplock bag into the office for show-and-tell in order for them to get pest control out to the apartment after the 3rd mouse I caught in December. Well it’s now been a month, and the problem hasn’t been fixed. I woke up to a screeching, thrashing, bloody mouse stuck to a sticky pad this morning, and when I notified the office to have it removed, I was told by management that it was not the property staff’s job to do so, that pest control had been contacted to remove it at “some point today” and to just leave it in the apartment until they could arrive. Oh and that they would be “squeezing me in” so they didn’t know when pest control would arrive. No apology, no “we’ll get this rectified immediately”, not even an “oh my gosh!” Well excuse me and all my rent payments for being such an inconvenience to you, while I sit here watching and listening to this mouse screaming and bleeding all over the place while it tries to chew off its own leg. When I finally couldn’t take it any more, I had to put the whole sticky pad outside. When I asked what the plan was to get this continuing problem permanently fixed, I was told that they had “an office full of people” and would have to get back to me…What?!? You mean all the people looking to rent mice-infested apartments?!? The end of this lease can’t come soon enough. Oh and before you guys reply with your stupid AI generated “please call the office with your complaint” response, go ahead and just have district management call me. After nearly 4 years of living here, this particular group of office staff has discovered the end of my patience.

So far so good. Waiting for some minor repairs to be done. Had a chipped and cracked stove top. Brought it up to management. Hoping they will fix in a timely manner. Lots of amenities. Look at the additional fees before you apply. At&T,trash,etc.

Keep looking

Was so excited to move in but first two months have been full of disappointments.... Day 1, Dishwasher was broken. The maintenance team was great but couldn't fix, no problem... based on initial conversation, expected it to be replaced following week Tuesday. For some unknown reason skid to Friday... not the worst but a bummer. Dog poop... watch your step, it's all over. The bbq patio is trashed, along with trash compactor. The maintenance requests get closed without. Completing / zero communication. We chased them down on why a simple request for pressure washing was closed... they let us know it's scheduled annually, but can't give a timeline or timeframe of when... the breezeway is disgusting and they have done nothing after multiple conversations. Try to call the office. But make sure to keep calling! Cause it'll hang up on you. Last time called no less than six times. The gym is great, wish they'd actually restock the wipes to disinfect equipment. Constantly running out or just never refilled. The neighbors are the saving grace. They are great. Otherwise I'd recommend to keep looking.

Overall, I really enjoy living at Cooper River Farms! The apartments are up to date and well designed and the grounds are always maintained. Parking can be an issue and people not picking up after their pets is unfortunately a regular occurrence but that’s about the only negatives I’ve seen living here the last few years.

Neighbors are respectful. Staff is helpful: like getting the ac working by a real technician. Surroundings are easy on the eye, and pleasant. Properties are more secluded: the long driveway in is far away from the hustle bustle of the main road Clements Ferry Road. The farm is clean, tidy and well-maintained in all communal areas, consistently. Cooper River Farms has been home for 2 years. It was a great pick for all the other choices out there.

The place is really nice. The amenities are great. However my experience when moving in was tough. It wasn't thoroughly cleaned, at least to my standards. And there were bugs still crawling around. I definitely could tell a guy lived in the apt previously because his hair was like in little crevices and what not. And was not left with signs of cleaning light switches and other details. However, the apt place did great things and got a cleaner in that day. Pest control came a couple days later (but they weren't that helpful). Overall it's buggy since it's SC and near the river.

Overall, after 3 years. It’s been great. There are a few issues that are minor. Trash pick up schedule. Dog poop on the ground. But most of my issues I had In my first year have been resolved, such as parking. I greatly Appreciate cooper river farms. I think it’s a great quiet and private place to be. This was a great place to live! The floor plan had lots of room, the community was always quick to answer maintenance requests, and it's about 20-25 minutes from NNPTC/NPTU. Also really close to the awesome parks on Daniel Island. I'm so sad to leave!

Would have been 5 stars, if not for the rent prices being ridiculously expensive (20% over fair market value for lease renewal than current rental prices listed for similar units in our complex), consistent issues with waste removal, subsequent increased pest issues, and maintenance telling renters they are now responsible for maintenance responsibilities (such as hvac and fridge filter replacement monthly) which is insane on its own, but furthermore because there has been NO prior written notification to renters of said changes in maintenance services nor reductions in rent for renters suddenly having to take on these financial burdens. So much potential- the property is beautiful and the community events are fantastic, but overall Cooper River Farms is greedy and seriously falling short.

Community is great. Dog poop kinda everywhere so watch where you step. Grounds crew kinda rude or used to be at least. Not enough parking for guest spots. The mosquitoes during summer are insane, you have to run to your car to avoid them and god forbid one actually gets in the car. Community is wonderful, very dog loving, compassionate and caring people, kid friendly and great cooks. Other tenants are wonderful and nice but some other kinda come on strong and kinda creepy, but I think one of them moved out a week after moving in. A lot of military tenants and police live here so I feel safer than I would anywhere else.
