A short 20-minute drive from Downtown St. Louis, the suburb of Concord serves as a quaint place for many to call home. Dotted with apartments, the area provides shopping in the form of big-box stores, including Costco and Target, and local shops such as Schnucks for groceries and Fleet Feet Sports for apparel. With the South County Center Mall only minutes from Concord, this area provides residents with a well-rounded number of choices for picking up dinner or a new outfit.
Interstate 270 splits Concord, giving residents easy access to other vibrant areas of the city. The town offers plenty to do without leaving, however, including dining at chain favorites like Olive Garden and O'Charley's or enjoying the freshly made combo plate dishes at Panda Chinese. Tee Time Family Fun Center and Show-Me Lanes on the southeast edge of town round out the suburb's recreational offerings with mini golf and bowling, respectively.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Concord Place Apartments
Since new management took over, I have found it nearly impossible to get anything fixed or problems resolved. For months I have been dealing with constant loud fighting, door slamming, stomping, things being thrown on the floor & pot smoking at all hours of the day & night, from the tenants upstairs to the point of having to call the police. The odor of marijuana fills my apartment pretty much on a daily basis now, & it's the first thing I smell when I've been gone for a while & come home. I have been complaining for months about the situation & I have not gotten a decent night's sleep since these tenants moved in. To date, I am still living under the same circumstances, which have only gotten worse. I also complained for months about the mold in my bath tub, which was in the spout & around the drain where the paint had peeled away. After sending photos to the management & constant complaining, the spout was finally changed, but the peeling paint around the drain, where the mold also builds up, has yet to be fixed. I finally gave up complaining. Problems don't seem to be resolved until you move out because they want to make sure that the unit gets filled right away. Don't believe the "smoke free, washer/dryer hook-ups, or 40 lb weight restriction for pets, because I deal with the marijuana smell on a daily basis, & they made all tenants remove their dryers so they could replace them with coin operated ones & after they allowed someone to move in with a 55 lb dog, it attacked another residents dog, almost killing it & also bit someone, yet the dog is still here. I have a cute apartment, but I am being forced to move just so I can get away from the drug use & so I can finally get a decent nights sleep.
