Located along the Mississinewa River between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Gas City is a small town with a strong sense of community. Gas City residents come together for a variety of year-round events, including the annual Fourth of July Celebration, DuckTail Run car show, and seasonal Concerts in the Park.
Gas City’s historical roots are evident throughout the town, but especially along Main Street—the primary commercial thoroughfare brimming with an array of shops and restaurants in quaint brick buildings. The town’s rich past is also on display at the Gas City Museum, with numerous artifacts and pieces of artwork from a bygone era.
Gas City Park and Gas City Speedway provide plenty of options for recreation in town as well as the Mississinewa River. Indiana Wesleyan University and Taylor University are both just a short drive away from Gas City, offering many educational and cultural opportunities to residents. Convenience to U.S.
