Property Ratings at Cobblestone Court Apartments
There is nothing enticing about this property. No one would willingly want to live here, unless maybe you think it would be close to work temporarily. The units are relatively poorly built: cheap carpets, concrete jungle outside, nothing green, no walking or running paths, no parks, not walkable to anything, no grocery store, covered in goose crap year round. You're literally in the middle of a home depot, 2 highways, and a retirement community. Inside, appliances are cheap and routinely break. Disposal metal blade came apart and had to be replaced. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone. The hinges are not aligned. The panels to the cabinets have paint that is peeling and cheap. The staff are rude. Something broke? they blame you, and you get surprise bill for it. Disposal blade broke, oh, you must have been pouring oil down your sink. They changed the autopay software, and that stopped your autopay? Obviously your fault. They don't even ask you. If you ask them to fix something in the common areas like the gym, they don't respond or just say no. Some of the people renting there are a bit questionable. Mix of old folks who have borderline dementia, a few young folks trying to save up to get out of here, and divorced males with loud cars to compensate. I have been here a few years and have yet to meet a happy tenant.

Per the lease, residents are only held responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear. Regarding auto-pay, we don’t have access to resident banking info, so payment adjustments must be made by the resident, especially after lease renewals. All applicants go through the same screening process, and we’re proud of the diverse community here. it's all fun and games until you move in...once you move in you can expect: 1. no responses from the office 2. emergency situations are not handled in a timely manner if at all 3. complain about aggressive dogs and nohting happens as well as speeding drivers 4. poor snow removal if at all. 5. paper thin walls to hear your neighbors doing whatever all day and night 6. windows are poorly insulated as well as the apartments, expect high gas bills to heat your place and high electric bills to cool off 7. trash does not get picked up often enough 8. the people in the office are rude, uncaring and unresponsive

Pros: First, the service there the staff is really nice, maintenance is really helpful, except one lady in the front office who was a little unpleasant to deal with. It's close to a few nice restaurants, close to the beach, close to the freeway and within walking distance to BW3. Con: The price of the apartment was a little outrageous as I was able to purchase a house and a mortgage for less than what the rent was. (I was in the 1200-1300 range). A lot of the kids don't pay attention to cars driving around and will ride their bikes out in front of you or stare at you like you're stupid when you drive up to them and wait for them to move. I know that's part of their parents just being horrible but it was really annoying. Cobblestone doesn't take care of their roads when the snow falls and it ends up becoming very icey. I had an incident where I fell on the ice, it wasn't pleasant. The walls are almost paper thin, one of my neighbors consistently played loud music and it would literally shake my living room. I could be laying on my couch and feel the vibration. Most people don't pick up after their pets when they take them outside so you must watch where you walk on the grass. They have one garbage compactor near the office and that can be a pain when taking out trash. They dont keep up with their lawn care very well either, I was told the guy "takes great pride in his grass" well it's usually dried out and when they cut it they leave all their grass shavings everywhere so if you go out and back in you will bring them back into your apt. The apt itself should have been upgraded for the price I was paying, in my opinion you dont really get what you pay for. They charge you to use online pay so it's easier to just drop off a check. I never actually met anyone while I lived there but my neighbors were quite annoying and their kids were pretty loud and obnoxious as well. Conclusion: **/5 It's a nice place for younger people although there are a lot of families. I never used any of the amenities but saw a lot of people using it every weekend. They try to get you involved with their little community but it just didn't do it for me. By the end of my time there I was extremely ready to get out. However it really is the only "nice" place to live on the east side (until willoughby's chagrin river walk opens but they're even more pricey than this place). I do think they give you a nice apartment albeit it's cheaply built.

We're also glad you were able to take advantage of our wonderful location, We do regret to hear, however, that you feel you didn't receive the level of value we always aim to provide our residents. With regard to any excessive noise, we do have quiet hours outlined in our lease. Should our residents experience any excessive noise at any time, they are encouraged to contact our management office so we may address it immediately. It it is after hours, they can call our emergency on-call line or local authorities if need be. Appropriate documentation of these instances is always kept. Great staff, city, location, and great pool. Would recomend this complex mainly for single people or couple without kids. Rooms are cozy but not a lot of space throughout.
