Property Ratings at Club Lake Pointe Apartments
I moved from this complex 6 months ago and is still having issues with them, when I left I provided my forwarding address, they have my contact number and email address. 6 months later I received a collection notice to say I owe them for a final water bill. I never received a final bill via email, I received no phone calls about this bill, neither did I receive a final bill in the mail. They claim it was sent via certified Mail but they are unable to track it. SMH! Please save yourself the headache and do not rent from these people. They don’t care about their residents.
Location: NOT SURROUNDED BY ANY OTHER APARTMENTS There is a large church across the street, and the rest is housing developments...nice ones. This location is well secluded and barely visible from the street with large bushy trees. It has a fantastic lake that you can kayak or fish in, and the beach is only 20 minutes away. Pompano beach is small, but easily accessible. Not any night life to speak of, but lots of family stuff and stuff for middle aged women who don't quite party anymore, but like to do lots of things. There are two other apartment communities in nearby locations run by the same company, but none have the lake. Management: I have had no problems with the office, be it for general questions, paying rent, or maintenance requests. Like all apartment complexes they try to fix things that I would rather have replaced, typical lower end appliances etc. It is very easy to get in touch with them using online, an app, or in person. Everyone is very friendly. Pricing is comparable to other apartments of the same size, but this has a lake. Can't stress enough how much I love the lake. Complex amenities: Pool, work out room, lake, playground, park, tennis court, car washing area and adjacent park are convenient and peaceful; great for children or adults.
Long but please read! So me and 3 others were looking forward to moving here after being shown a model room. We were shown a nice home with wood floors throughout the apartment. It seemed clean and kept up with. This was a month and a half prior to our expected move in date. They asked for $300 to secure the apartment for us which I paid. Throughout the next few weeks, I asked them if we can see the actual apartment we’d be getting and they always had some reason as to why we couldn’t go in and see. So on The day before our actual move in day, I went to see if I can look through the window and also pay the security deposit $500.I stopped by the actual apartment we’d be getting, on the 2nd floor, I noticed the door wasn’t’t locked. I stepped inside. After almost two months I wanted to physically see it. After all we were expected to move in in less than 24 hours. as I walked in, I immediately noticed the floor was covered with dead and live roaches. I’m talking big and small ones. At least 15-20 in just the entrance alone. The living room and kitchen had more in them. Then I noticed the bedrooms had carpet. We were promised the same exact wood vinyl flooring through the entire place. I even mentioned carpet allergies to the man who showed us the model and he said “Great! Your place would be perfect for you with these vinyl floors” and he knew we’d be getting a unit with carpet. I even asked him “Hilton, so our unit will look exactly like this?” And he said confidently, “Yes, your apartment will be the same.” Then after further inspection, I opened the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen to find black mold in a lot of areas. And places where you couldn’t see it, you can tell it was just painted over. The actual unit compared to the model unit was a complete disgusting mess. The staff there lied to us multiple times and even ignored my calls. They promised me a refund for the $300 and more than a month later I had to bug them to check on the status. They then call me and say they’re not doing the refund. So long story short, they show you a false promise of an apartment, tell you you what you’re not getting and make you believe you’re getting it, take your money without showing you what you’re getting, and then come up with every excuse to not give your money back make you stay there. I’m also pretty sure they ignored my calls when I was calling about my refund. When I called from a different number, they answered. Don’t move here
I lived here for five years moved out of florida just came back and didn't go to club lake and I regret it still in the neighborhood but it's no club lake pointe the parking here is horrible the place is remodeled but I still regret it they have apartment numbers here at club lake pointe the first numbers age your apartment the people at club lake pointe are nice the maintenance is always helpful the parking is plentiful ..I miss them
Apartment Shopper Beware, I was looking for an apartment in Coral Springs here they were asking for the admin fee of 275.00$ these people will take your Money order and they will deposit it in there account and you have to wait 30days to get it back. I went to the office and applied gave them the money order they said I was not approve the next day I came back for my 275$.00 so I can continue my search and keep it moving and find another apartment, they told me they deposited it in there account and I have to wait 30days to get it back. I was never told that initially, was not informed, or gave any written or oral consent for that. I was so upset it's been weeks and I am still waiting on my money the Manager does not care, I contacted the bookkeeper she worst don't care, said I have to wait 30 days. Remember I was not initially told this did not know they would do it. I contacted the corporate office in Florida nothing and reached all you get is voicemail a series of extension no one ever pickups. Reached to corporate office, in California Regional nothing to help all I get is nothing nothing, I am still waiting on my money I didn't even live there, NO ONE CARES, can you imagine how they will treat you if you become a resident and have a problem and you need help. I AM STILL WAITING ON MY $275.00 why does a company need to deposit a refundable fee, plain Ridiculous RENTER BEWRE
I do not recommend this place to live, they DO NOT MAKE MAINTENANCE TO THE APARTMENTS, they are very old the mess in the whole is total, they delivered it with cockroaches, old appliances damaged and obsolete, trash in common areas, NO recycling, staff Of administration does not meet the requirements of the inhabitants, due to lack of personnel, within the price includes water, but remove it because damage to the system. Do not fumigate, in short, they show you the model apartment that is totally different from the one you are given, DO NOT BE DECEIVED. The service is lousy !!!!!
This community is very nice. Twice a month they have family activities in the club house like Popsicles by the pool, who doesn't like a good Popsicle on a hot day :) not including the events for holidays! The staff are extremely polite and very caring. Also, the apartments are nice with walk in closets and garden tubs. Love it here.
The apartment is great but it is to small. Theres not much storage space and for the price its not worth it. But i can say during the winter is the best time to be around. The coziness if the apartment is great. Overall I will not stay another year and am looking forward to moving into my new apartment in a couple of months.
I lived here when they first opened the property and I may I say they are by far THE BEST!!!! Recently I moved back to FLorida and unfortunately for me I did not go back to this property because of the geographical location I needed for work, boy was that a mistake. If you are looking for a Great place and a staff that truly cares this is your home. Am thinking of just driving further and moving back to this property. Not only are the aprtments gorgeous and high quality but the residents are too.
The building looks its age and the owners haven't made any capital improvements but still continue to raise rents to match newer properties. There is never enough parking. The plumbing in my building has been a constant problem over the six years I have been here. I don't really like moving but the time has come.
Me and my family just moved down from NYC 2 1/2 years ago to Florida. Looking for a change, safe and beautiful enviroment for our 3 childreb to grow. We've found comfort and safety at this apartment complex in Coral Springs, Fl. We are going into our 3rd lease renewal at the same apartment. We love the area, the apartments are beautiful and specious, and of course near good schools for our little ones. We've left the big city of NYC and never looked back. At Club lake point apartments have been good to us, and looking forward to another year here.
Staff is very courteous and work orders are completed promptly. 3/2 model is good size but guest rooms air conditioning poorlyrics circulates. Appliances are new. Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities have a nice updates. Parking is main concern.... after 7 pm you are stuck parking on opposite side of complex. Over all, 4 out 5 stars.
