Located about three miles northwest of Downtown Orlando, Spring Lake features an idyllic setting highlighted by its scenic namesake lake. Spring Lake offers a variety of houses and apartments for rent throughout the community, but the most desirable rentals tend to be those on the lake itself.
Right above the lake lies the Country Club of Orlando, the community's other major attraction. Locals stop in to practice their golf swing, play a few sets of tennis, or grab dinner at the club. When residents need to run some errands or feel like dining out, Colonial Drive is usually the answer as the main commercial thoroughfare in the community, where Magic Mall and more are within close reach.

Property Ratings at Citron at The Packing District
Overall, the community is great, and the building is new with a very nice structure. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some first-floor apartments are at a disadvantage because delivery drivers do not have direct access to the apartment doors. The garage divides the ground floor into two areas, which prevents deliveries from reaching certain units. This was a concern I mentioned during my tour, and I was told deliveries would come directly to my door, which has not been the case. A back door or alternate access could help solve this. The package room could also be better organized. Although shelves are assigned by floor, packages are often mixed together and difficult to find. I’ve also noticed that Amazon Grocery does not allow perishable deliveries to this address. Lastly, since I work out very early, having access to the coffee machine outside leasing office hours would be a great improvement.
We have been living here for about 4 months almost. The management team puts in a lot of work into the community. I do appreciate how fast maintenance works. Shout out to Juan and the rest of the maintenance team.

Since we've moved in, we've dealt with swarms of mosquitos living in our patio.. Mgmt office has scheduled biweekly pest control visits and we've reported that sometimes they help and sometimes it does nothing. Since then, we've discovered that my 2 year old is allergic. So, typical exposure is ok. We deal with swarms. They live in the cove of our patio. We have to move out for my son's health and safety. Management provided pest control. They checked in, I told them it wasn't working all the time. I told them about my son's issues and they offered to move me to another unit, with no guarantee that I wouldn't deal with the same mosquito issues. And they're charging me the full breaking lease fee, even though I'm moving because of a health and safety issue they can't fix. I hope this review helps someone, especially if you or anyone from your family is allergic to mosquitos and you're considering moving here.

I’ve been living at Citron at The Packing District for a bit now, and honestly, it’s one of the nicest new apartments I’ve seen in Orlando. The location is super convenient — you’re close to downtown, College Park, and all the restaurants and shops popping up in The Packing District area. It feels like the perfect mix of city life and calm neighborhood vibes. The building itself is beautiful and modern. Love the community, pool is awesome but some hiccups on checking in for first day. FOB did not work on all doors, building is confusing to navigate, and guest parking is minimal.
