Everything has been absolutely amazing so far! Anything wrong with our apartment was quickly and efficiently fixed. Move in was a breeze and the office is always available for any questions! Leasing Agents/ Management are amazing.

Great community. Close to restaurants, shopping center and the community college is very close by. The staff here is extremely friendly. It was a easy process to move in. The parking spaces are extremely small and it's hard to get my kids in the car without hitting the cars parked next to me. The building is made to where you can hear your neighbors all around you. That's something that's been hard getting use to. Sometimes the area around the compactor has to much trash around it. Other than those issues I have, I love this place. You get a feel of being in the outdoors but are so close to everything the town has to offer. The maintenance staff are friendly and get things done in a reasonable amount of time. The rent along with having to pay water and sewer aside from it is a little pricey. Overall I love this place more than the other apartment complex I lived at.

Overall, our experience has been pretty good. The office staff is always very nice and super helpful. With covid not being able to use the facilities has been a huge bummer as it was part of the reason for moving in here. The apartments spacious and quiet for the most part. We have enjoyed living here and I would recommend to others.

I just recently moved to Citizen and Oake in December, and I couldnt be happier with my choice. From the comforting home-y smells in the office, to the smiles on all the staffs faces, youre not going to want to look anywhere else. The amenities had already sold me before Id even seen the unit. How many communities have not 1, but 2 gyms? None. Theres a weight room and a cardio room here. Also the pool is HUGE. Then when we went into the unit and saw how spacious it was, I was not let down. Both units I saw had an open concept and a fireplace. We had 4 more places lined up to view after coming to citizen and oake and nothing came close to the cleanliness of the community and the kindness of the staff. I would 10/10 recommend moving here.. If they have any units available.

It looks beautiful upon first few visits; apartments are not that maintained, although the paint and floor makes it look worth the price of rent, I disagree after moving in; appliances are older; could use new sliding door, new windows, nicer blinds, and most of all an included covered parking spot. Its ok but could be way better.

Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in!!!

Don’t rent here! My refrigerator constantly leaked water. I had to get rid of ants in the apartment. Nothing in my apartment in a year got fixed. I was getting ready to move and specifically asked them to hold an important package. They sent my package return to sender after it was delivered BEFORE I moved out. On top of all of this there was poeple breaking into my neighbors cars.

Worse apartments I've ever stayed In

If it was up to me I would give this place no stars the parking is horrible! They will tow your car unless you PAY for a parking spot and if you have a visitor come over (even when parking in a non undercover parking) they will STILL tow your car like they did my work van and my gfs car which I had to pay to get out of towing even though they were parked in open spaces. The apartments are OVERPRICED there are way nicer apartments around for cheaper(wish I would of known) also they make you PAY 20 a month for garbage service and another 20 fee if you choose to have them pick up your garbage from your door step( which is why half the units have their garage outside the doors it's GROSS and it STINKS why would anyone want to live here!

DONT RENT

Worst experience ever. We've had roaches and ants (which they tried to say we brought). All the buildings have plumbing issues, staff is rude and unhelpful and matinance sucks now. They were bought out by some company from Bellevue to make it hoity-toity which the location sucks for the price they are offering on renewals renovated apartments. Oh and if you like the police here every other night it's definitely the place for you. The hot tub that they advertise rarely works so don't count on using that either. Not at all a quality place to live

I lived here for 3 years including change of ownership. Since the change it has gone downhill. Staff is incredibly rude and unfriendly. Rented a garage to start on a Saturday. Had 2 others planned to help move stuff. Saturday came and didn't get the keys. Office said maintenance guy was too busy to get us our access to the garage and can just do it on Monday. NO, my garage rental starts TODAY and I need to get in. this weekend, we work on MONDAY. Had to DEMAND access into our own garage on the day it was to begin. Lazy. Took three months to have my warm fridge finally changed out because they have to rule out other possibilities THREE times before they will finally switch it out. Got no offer of restitution for the food that spoiled constantly. Had to keep milk in freezer. Moving out, little to no communication. Have to ask 20 questions to get one answer. Then balance owed at move out was charged twice for utilities. Had to point it out to have taken off. Does no one review the charges before they are given to the resident? Also I was given a blank payment plan to fill out myself. Extremely unprofessional. Stopped allowing split online payments with absolutely NO warning. Addresses me in an email with "Hey, if you look at the statement I sent you...." when the original statement didn't have the info on it. What kind of way is that to address your tenant? "HEY!" And yes, the jacuzzi hasn't worked in over 2 years. An "amenity" that my rent was also supposedly covering. They still advertise they have a jacuzzi but haven't in two years because they just don't want to fix it which was a huge let down. I am so happy I am out of there. Besides the noise with bratty kids bullying each other constantly, people bumping their music, rude unfriendly neighbors and hot boxing in their cars. Now living in a duplex off a lake. SO quiet and peaceful.

worst living experience!

First off they do not work well with military! The apartments are outdated and the appliances are all broken, the walls and counter tops were peeling off from the start. Closet doors constantly come off which was probably the most annoying and they have a huge wasp problem. We couldn't even enjoy our patio because it was infested. Parking is horrible if you don't purchase a covered space you will never find a place to park, every night was a hassle to find parking it took forever. Hot tub never worked while I lived there and the pool was always dirty. On top of that Jamie is probably the rudest person alive. My husband has received last minute orders to deploy and she refused to work with us on breaking our lease. We had a year lease but since was deploying last minute I wanted to move back home because I could not stand living in those apartments. She refused his orders stating they were not real, HAHA! Just because she hadn't seen those kind before. My husband is in special forces. We spoke to his command 3 times and each time they tried to give us another type of form stating that he was deploying and that his orders were official. They Jaime refused to speak with his command. Finally the day that my husband left i left as well and I went and turned in my rent. I left on the 4th and she still had me pay the full month of rent. She still hasn't given me and answer as to our lease being broken so I just left I was sick of it. His command informed me that I could easily take it to court and he would go and show that they were official. She never called me to tell me my lease was broken and it's been a two months since. Terrible customer service. I believe my lease did break because when I called to pay a bill they did not say anything but it would still be nice to know. I have reported them to the better business bureau and I'm still speaking to a lawyer about how I want to handle the way they treated our lease and deployment orders.

NEVER move here

Staff is rude. They have horrible communication skills and lack hospitality. You will be told one thing by one person and then another from another staff memeber so get it in writing. Their leases and transfer agreements are horribly written so see a lawyer before signing. Jamie is just plain rude. Connie is a lot nicer. If you have a problem just go to her. Appliances are outdated and you will have an infestation and mold problem.

Green Leaft at Lakewood

Its a nice place, the one bedroom apartments are kind of a weird shape, but the 2 bed is really nice. W/d in unit. Nice view of the swamp area behind us. Lots of trees and green grass. The staff is pretty friendly. The neighbors however (at least ours) sucked! Our downstairs neighbors we constanyl fighting and slamming doors and the people next to us would always have people over on the weekends and they would get really drunk and go outside and yell at each other for hours. and the people below them have a small child that is always making noise. and the after hours courtesy patrol never did anything about it. We also paid for a covered parking spot and people would always park there so we had no where to park and the courtsey patrol once again never did anything. and our neighbors were always smoking weed. BUT ON TOP OF IT ALL we also had mushrooms grow out of our floor (no fault of ours) and it turned out to be black mold and when i asked management if they could put us in a hotel (because its TOXIC) they said that they "dont have a budget for that sort of thing" so we had to stay in our mold and mushroom apartment until they fixed it. they didnt even fix it right. all they did was clean the carpet and clean the wall, and then patch it up again. so were still living with toxic mold because we cant move. so its less than awesome.

I've had my apartment bombed 4 times, 3 times for ants and once for fleas. Remind you I don't have animals but the people upstairs do. I've also had salamanders because there is a wet land behind my house. But they did not inform me that I may have these in my house. They have great amenities, but I'm not living where the amenities are.

Looks super nice on the outside

Moved in to a 2bd 2ba with a one year lease. $940/mo with an additional $20/mo for each pet, & $25/mo for a covered parking spot. Within 3mo of moving in the indoor hot tub closed. Was told it had a leak, yet it has never been fixed. The outdoor hot tub doesnt work either. Lease was up & i was told my rent would increase $75/mo for a new 1yr lease, $135/mo on a 6mo lease & over $300 for a mo/mo lease. Fix the amenities people are paying for & $75 wouldn't sound so crazy. Looks good from outside but inside, not so much.
