Restaurants

While the neighborhood itself contains a limited amount of businesses, you will not need to travel more than a few miles in any direction to find an assortment of fine dining establishments and places to enjoy San Antonio's nightlife. Grey Moss Inn holds a well-established reputation for being one of San Antonio's best fine-dining experiences. The restaurant possesses the unique charm of the Texas Hill Country. While the cozy interior or romantic patio serves as a picturesque setting, these features do not overshadow the food. Grey Moss Inn takes pride in their perfectly seasoned and prepared steaks, such as the K.C. Sirloin Strip. If steak does not strike your fancy, other excellent choices include the decadent lobster tail or moist lamb chops smothered in rosemary cabernet sauce. You can select a bottle of wine from their extensive list to complement your meal or ask the knowledgeable staff for a recommendation. The welcoming atmosphere coupled with aromas of wood-fired pizza characterize the magic of Fralo's. Under the oak trees and twinkling lights, picnic-style seating sets a casual and inviting tone. Creative combinations top the hand-tossed dough and house-made pizza sauce. One of the most popular pizzas, appropriately named the Little Hottie, contains spicy Italian sausage, cilantro, corn and jalapeño peppers. If you find yourself overwhelmed with all the tasty choices, Fralo's sampler pizza allows you to try four different signature pizzas in one. Live music enhances the outdoor atmosphere, and your pets are welcome to join the merriment. The Grill at Leon Springs attracts customers with upscale decor and a lively atmosphere. A selection of freshly prepared seafood dishes comprise a majority of the menu. Guests can enjoy entrées such as the famous crab cakes garnished with Asian slaw and sesame soy vinaigrette. Bottles of wine can be purchased for half the price on Tuesdays. Also, the restaurant provides an early bird special to customers dining before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The area surrounding Cielo Vista supplies great options for a night out on the town. One such place can be found within The Shops at La Cantera. Yard House gives its guests a sense of class and elegance without sacrificing excitement. Expect a wide range of mixed drinks and cocktails to choose from, as well as beer and tasty food. In the same shopping center, you can also enjoy a drink and appetizer at Bar Louie. Try the signature Louie's Cosmo with the verde chicken flatbread. Not far away, the Hofbrau in The Rim shopping center has a more casual setting with its focus turned toward beer. Locals come here to sip a pint of beer or Dos-A-Rita while listening to local bands or catching the game.
