Property Ratings at Christmas Lake Manor Apartments
I lived here for a year and I loved the 836 building. It was tucked in the back of the property which gave me a private patio veiw of the wooded area behind. My apartment was fully remodeled and I loved it, I never had issues with the management or the maintenance team. Things get fixed in a timely manner and if they are waiting on parts to communicate it with you. I could not think of a better place to comfortably live in Excelsior without paying double the rent.
I have rented here for one year, and it had been a wonderful experience. All utilities except for electric, wifi and cable. It was super easy to get a nice apartment, and our unit was newly remodeled. When we suddenly gained a cat (thank you, Cat Distribution Algorythm), it only took 3 days to get that paperwork taken care of, and the pet rent is only $10! There is a sand volleyball court, community grills, and decent picnic tables. For one $25 payment, we were given a key to the community gym that's under a mysterious upper/lower duplex. rowing machine, stationary bike, treadmill, free weights, and medicine balls can be found there. Laundry machines link up to an app on your phone, to pay and start the machines, which gives you alerts when your laundry cycles are done. pretty expensive though... the people who hang out on their balconies/decks are really friendly, and make it easier to feel at home. Some staff live on campus, so if you need something, you can probably track them down the following day. When we ended up with a hole in the drywall, the help ticket was processed via their app, and was taken care of within the week. Marathon Management has made my first renting experience delightful, and I appreciate their methods. I thoroughly enjoyed the year I've had, and am pleased with the new manager change.
