My experience at Christina Mill has been very positive. The move-in process went smoothly, and the office staff were professional, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions I had. When I first moved in, the property was transitioning to new management, and even during that period, everything was handled efficiently. Betsy was especially phenomenal—she made the process easy and stress-free. The community is well-maintained, and communication from management has been excellent. I would highly recommend Christina Mill to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to live.

While the community is great and the leading office is incredibly friendly, do be aware that maintenance is slow to respond and that there are some issues with the plumbing and electricity in some of the units.

The grounds are beautiful, apartment layout is nice except for spiders, constant disrepair, and a garbage pile left in parking lot that my colleagues can see from Elkton rd. Been there for at least a week and no staff has removed it. If I ask to have it removed, they will ignore and make it like we have some sort of problem. If the don’t want to work, maybe they should go home. We have lived here 2 months and we already know not to ask……for the rent we pay, it is not okay. I chose a complex for the service, this is underwhelming.

We love living here at Christina Mill. Location is great. Management is terrific, and Maintenance responds quickly to handle any of our concerns. Landscaping, mowing, and snow plowing is great. Pool, fitness room, package lockers, and community room all great!

I moved here two years ago. While the grounds are great with access to a short trail, community garden and dog park the staff, units, and maintenance just drown that bit of good out. Our unit is small and dysfunctional. We paid extra for a renovated unit two years ago. 1/2 of the renovations weren’t complete. We are on the first floor and our patio door frame is uneven/unelevel which creates a gap that runs along the top of the frame letting out warm air in the winter and stressing the AC in the summer while letting all kinds of bugs crawl in. The property has declined to fix it. The toilet isn’t secured to the ground. The hole they cut was too big to affix the toilet so they try to use copious amounts of caulk to secure it. The washer and dryer water lines aren’t right because you can only wash on super hot temperatures which isn’t ideal for all fabrics. There is a sever lack of storage space inside. The frame of the new vanity was put in backwards. The list goes on. I could have put up with faulty craftsmanship. The worst part of living here is the office staff. They don’t communicate once you move in. Once you’re here, your concerns are a nuisance. I tried to move out shortly before COVID, but they didn’t respond to a landlords inquiry fast enough which led to us being unable to move into a new place. Due to Covid lockdowns and timing of our lease we felt we had no choice but to stay another year. In that year the staff has been condescending, unresponsive, and unhelpful. They will hold off on responding to emails and reply at the end of the day just so they don’t have to deal with your response. They break their promises on waiving fees and charges as an apology for their shortcomings. I should be a pretty low maintenance resident. I want things to work, proactive communication, and a heads up when something changes. I got non of that here. Complete waste of a great location and great outdoor amenities. But the last email or phone call I get from anyone with Christina Mill is going to be one of the greatest reliefs of my life. I’ve lived in five apartments all over the country. This is by far my least favorite. Which is a shame. I like my neighbors. I like the grounds. Loathe the garbage workmanship and customer service from the office. Those two elements are so bad I would not recommend this place to a friend or family member.

The other tenants have been very welcoming. We love that it is dog friendly and the dog park is our favorite perk. We use it regularly. It has been a life saver since our dogs are used to having a yard to run around in. Having other dogs to play with has really be a great experience for them. As dog owners we know how important it is to find a place that is safe and welcoming of our pets. It is not always easy to find - particularly if you have dog larger than 35 pounds. We would definitely recommend Christina Mill to our friends with dogs in need of an apartment. Aside from the pet aspect, the apartment is very quiet. We rarely hear our neighbors. The fireplace and in unit washer/dryer are also very nice additions.

The office team have been extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. The maintenance team is professional and friendly. So far, the residents that I've encountered all seem friendly and I like that it appears to be a very diverse group.
This is a beautiful place to call home. The office personnel and maintenance personnel go the extra step to always greet you with a smile. They are efficient and knowledgable and simply make life here smoother. Love Christina Mills!
For a minor request, it was handled quickly and thoroughly, with them even cleaning up some marks left on the floor from the faulty door.
Would recomend- location, special amenities like pool, gym, tennis court. Would not recomend - recent thefts/ car break-ins. Older units with some old amenities.

A great place for everyone. People of all ages live here, kind and open to others, even if they are new. The faculty are kind and welcoming and the facilities and set up allow for a feel a safety and welcome to all.
From the handicap parking place just feet from my patio door to the wood burning fireplace in this cozy, very private one bedroom apartment, all features are perfect for me. Each tenant has a plot of land for gardening . There is a dog park and lovely swimming pool, next to the clubhouse, fully equipped with all kinds of exercise equipment to complete the many amenities. I'm so happy so say that Christina Mill has been my home for the past year. I was sold from the moment Kira in the office gave my family and I a tour of the apartment. The Christina Mill community honestly puts other apartment complexes in the area to shame. Everyone in the front office and in the maintenance department have been incredibly helpful and welcoming. The new fitness center is amazing and don't even get me started on the pool. It is the ultimate place for rest and relaxation. Plus, who else can say they have their own Woof Woof park? As a graduate student from New Jersey, Christina Mill has given me a true home away from home in Delaware. Cheers to another year at Christina Mill!
Perfect for seniors, students, families, and pets. Office staff and maintenance are A-1. Calls for assistance are answered promptly and the work is done with little disruption. Beautiful curb appeal, lots of green space, plus a swimming pool, clubhouse, and bark park. Renovation is in progress and soon it will be even better than it is now, with all the upgrades planned. I am a senior citizen who recently adopted a shelter rescue dog. Fearful, abused, and abandoned, he has made great strides thanks to the kindness of the folks who work here. For me, that's the #1 reason I will never leave here and sincerely recommend it for others.
I absolutely love my apartment! The walk in closet, the breakfast bar, the in home laundry, and spacious bathroom. The maintenance staff are wonderful and respond within 24 hours every time.
