Property Ratings at Chesapeake
I recently moved out of Chesapeake apartments, after living here for 13 months due to my job. But my experience has been absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Rhonda Drummond went above and beyond to ensure my transition was seamless, she is super friendly and courteous, making me feel right at home. The location is really great and very convenient, making it the perfect place to live. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Everyone I've encountered has been friendly, professional, and eager to help in any way possible. If you're looking for a place to call home that offers both comfort and convenience, Chesapeake is the place to be. The only issue I am having is with my deposit that supposed to be fully refunded since I left the apartment in immaculate condition, and had paid everything in full, but the new system is keep showing double charges and I went in the office and the Manager assured me that the system is keep messing up the charges but you should get the full deposit refund back minus the water bill which is going to be charge in next month because it's behind. let's see, if they are going to cheat with the deposit or honor it? I even sent in the payment confirmation email to the office. If I don't receive my full deposit back, I will write another review about Burton Carol Management.

Just wanted to leave a review. I have lived here now for 4 years am am renewing this month. I have lived in the 1 bedroom and now the 2 bedroom. I upgraded last year because this complex is clean, friendly and well maintained. I have never had any issues getting any maintenance concerned address almost rather immediately. They are always friendly in the office. They do not tolerate people who are disruptive to the rest of the community. The rent is very fair considering the economy and the comparable places to live in the area. I have lived in complexes where maintenance requests were treated as the residents fault and an inconvenience--- NOT here! I will continue to review positive as long as I live here. Thank you for providing me and my son as quality, safe place to live!

I had lived here for 2+ years. The first year and a half were great. Then, the management went down hill. The prices were increasing, but the quality of what you pay for was not. 4 out of the 7 days a week, there would be a water breakage issue and the water would be turned off during daytime hours for hours at a time. When working overnights, I would want to come home after my shift & shower, was not able to living here.
Waste of time and money. Don't spend money for app fee.
What to mention first..... 1. Location and access to US 19, close to Dunedin also. 2. Staff treats you like family. 3. No riff-raff tolerated. 4. Lovely landscaping. 5. Maintenance issues of any kind fixed immediately. 6. Quiet. 7. Great Pool and Hot tub, gym also. I felt like I lived at a resort. The only reason I left was to move into my fiances home.
My husband and I walked in on May 20th wanting to look at a 1 bedroom apartment however what we got in return was a 15-20 minute wait for someone to show up at the desk and when she did we got a nice lecture on how our infant in 6 months would have to have her own room according to fair housing law however my husband works apartment maintenance and said he's never heard of such a thing and after searching the internet I couldn't find anything about it either. This was incredibly rude and quite embarrassing. We will never be back to this property.
First off it's very clean and maintained, everyone that works here from the office staff to the maintenance crew are very friendly and always helpful, plus it is a great place for family's very nice very safe and has everything you need or want, and there are some longtime residence that love it here! Just the Best Place to live and close to everything from Shopping, Great restaurants and the Beach!!! RO.
What's most appealing about my apartment complex is its location. Also, the people in the front office are nice and always helpful and respond immediately to any concerns. I have lived there about 15 years. I would love to have free rent for a year! :)
If you are looking for a place to live look no further ! This is and amazing location to live in and the apartments are beautiful. You will have many benefits while you live here as in air condition, cable, high speed internet ..etc The location in where these apartments stay are in great distance of many places you may want to go.This is one of the best apartment complex I have ever seen.
These apartments are in a great location! Minutes away from major roads as well as a mall! The complex is equipped with a gym and a pool for every resident to use. If you enjoy taking a walk they have beautiful scenery! The apartments themselves are alright. I live in a 1 bedroom 1 bath. It is pretty small, but practical. The management office is wonderful, if you have any problems or concerns they will help in anyway they can. Rent is a little pricy for what you get, but thats life.
My apt. complex receives the highest marks for quality living at its best. They offer 1 and 2 bedroom apts with many floor plans to choose from. They utilized all possible space in each apt to serve the resident in the best way possible. There is ample walk-in closet space and also include washer and dryer connections. The maintenance and up keep of all the units is far beyond excellent. I can honestly say I have never lived in a complex that tends to their landscape in such way that you will never see a dead plant or shrub on the property. I was very impressed over the fact that they even tend to dusting and cleaning your light fixture outside your front door. As far as decor they just don't paint a coat of white paint in the refurbishment of each apt. They paint one wall in the livingroom and one in the dining room as a decorator wall. There is a new style of flooring in both kitchen and bath that gives the impression of a wood plank floor. All appliances are kept up to date and replaced as needed. Our amenities include a pool, jacuzzi, exercise room and office or computer room. We have 4 fishing lakes with catch and release policy. You will also find a tennis court, handball court, car wash facility and lots of walking paths for your enjoyment. Our location is prime as we are only two blocks from the Countryside Mall and many other major shopping areas are only minutes away. If you like the Florida Gulf coast it is only a ten minute drive to the waters edge and beautiful beaches. On a final note the entire staff at Chesapeake are very cordial and family friendly. They do allow dogs and cats with only a few restricted breeds. There is a $300 pet fee and an additional $10 month per pet add to your rent. Our prices range from $800 to $1100 per month. I think you would enjoy your home at Chesapeake Apartments.
the community seems nice... the staff was great! I saw a half dozen maintenance guys in the complex working. I will say there are 2 things that I didn't like about the place. The 1st is the prices reflex a "basic" unit and it is ugly, looks old and dated!! However, they also show you the upgraded unit for almost $250 more per month and by upgrade it looks likenit belongs in this decade! The 2nd is as they explained it's a shared water system so all the unit share the cost of water evenly, which must be great for family, buts stinks for a single guy that works 60 hours a week, cause I am always going to over pay for water (the estimate the office gave me was $50-$80 per month) currently sits at 10th on my list of possibilities... because of the greatn location and access to roads!
I moved here 5 months ago and I couldn't be happier! The complex is very nice and well kept. The staff here is beyond friendly especially the maintenance crew. They live on site and are available at any time for major issues that might arise. When a work order is put in they have it taken care of in a timely manner, so that there is not a long wait on anything that could be a problem for a tenant. A couple weeks ago we had a lot of rain here and the parking lot in front of my building began to flood. They came to let me know that it might be a good idea to move my car. I have a 2 year lease here and I could not imagine living anywhere else.
I've lived at Chesapeake Apartments since 1/2015. I have to say my time here so far has been great! From the time I came to look at the property and apartments, I felt welcome. The staff is very professional and of course, friendly! Any questions or concerns I have are responded to quickly. Any maintenance issues I have are addressed almost immediately and the maintenance staff is awesome! The apartment itself is so cute. I have a one bedroom overlooking a small lake at the back of the property. It's so quiet and very pretty. My neighbors are friendly. I feel very safe living here. There are 3 ponds/lakes on the property and I love to take walks around the property. The pool area is very nice and so is the clubhouse. I have a feeling that this will be my home for a long time.
