Don't be fooled...

From the outside, this appears to be a very quiet, clean, peaceful community. But once you're locked in on a lease & have resided here for about a month, you will see what this place is REALLY about! Maintenance requests that long ago used to be completed the same day, now take weeks...or just plain don't happen at all! The delusion of quiet that may be present during the day quickly gives way to obnoxiously loud car stereos, neighbors hanging on stairwells & sidewalks & ALL-NIGHT pool parties! Drug usage & suspicious characters hanging in the parking lots also occur; but you will find out real quick that management turns a blind-eye to this! If you're a young person, this is your place. But if seeking a nice, family-friendly community, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

LOVE this complex!

Absolutely LOVE this place. I've never lived at a complex where the staff is always on top of things, but this place is great at it. Landscaping always looks nice, the management is super responsive, maintenance takes care of work orders within 24 hours, etc. I used to live at the Harbour Apartments right down the road and the difference between here and there is astronomical. I wish I would have known about the Chelsea Apartments when I first moved here. For this complex being one of the nicer ones in Beaumont, their prices are very reasonable. Wish I could give this place 10 stars.

Chelsea Apartments

The staff is very kind and helpful when speaking to them about any kind of issues that include a leak and weather strip problem. The leak was dealt with in a very timely fashion but the weather strip, which is too small for our door, has been an issue for several weeks now. So, apart from having a sock under the corner of the front door to try and prevent bugs from getting in, the apartments as a whole are very nice.

Pretty small

Hi Apartment.com! I do not really know where to start. I live in a pretty small apartment. I love this apartment though, i guess because this is my first apartment. When you walk in the door you are standing in the living room, about 15 feet in front of that is bedroom door at a (40°). To the right of the bedroom door is the bathroom door. If you turn around in 180° you will see my kitchen and my laundry room/closet. The bathroom and the bedroom have another door that connects them. That it is pretty much it . Boring right? The Apartment complex has been refurbished, and i forget how old they told me the apartments are. But whoever did the remodeling did a pretty good job. I cant complain. They always have great maintenance if something is wrong or if something breaks. They have a small work out area, that looks out on the very nice pool. A gas grill that you have to bring your own gas to cook with. Sometimes people leave the gas there for others to use. Little mailboxes they give you a key for. The people up at the front are extremely nice as well. They take take really good care of the trees around here, with the fertilizing almost every two months or so. It's really green and shady. Trees keep it cool and the AC bill down. The lawn will service come every week and keep the place mowed and looking great. They just re shingled the roof a few months back. It did not really need it but it looks really good. The doors to the apartment have two dead bolts. They have patios to relax on. The parking is not all that bad, you have your choice of a garage, or a shed to put your vehicle in. It will cost a little extra of course. The place over all is very clean. Pest control comes around once a month as well. I hope this helped you guys. Take care and have a good one.
