Lafayette has many beautiful neighborhoods. Different people like different areas of the city for their own reasons. However, the south side of the city is typically the most sought after. The area surrounding the University of Louisiana – Lafayette is known as the university area. This area, as well as Lafayette’s Downtown District, is more urban in nature than other parts of Lafayette. It is possible to walk to the school, local restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Broadmore is mostly residential and home to people of many different ages. This is also where the Thomas Park Recreation Center is located. Broussard, Youngsville, and Scott are small cities on the outskirts of Lafayette.

I loved living here this past year and I am sad to be moving on to a bigger city, in search of more opportunity. I will miss my tranquil view from my patio most. I give this community 5 out of 5, because it is well maintained, the office staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, the maintenance team is fast and professional, its secluded and private, and my apartment was perfect. I also enjoyed all of the community events!

I have been living here since March of 2015 and have loved every minute of it. It is convenient to just about everything in Lafayette but it's quite as if you were living in the country. The apartments are very spacious and I love the fact of having my own attached garage. The grounds are always nice and clean with several beautiful courtyards surrounded by beautiful land scape and fountains. My favorite part of Chateau des Lions is the pool area which I stay at most of the summer. I've met some great friends at the pool and it's like one big happy family. The office staff & maintenance crew are amazing and are always there to help when you need. When I decided to move here I went and met with the Property Manager on some personal issues, she was very understanding and worked with me which I am grateful for. If you are looking for an apartment then I recommend you call one of the lovely ladies in the office at Chateau des Lions and come be a part of this great community. Sincerely "Italian Stallion"

I've been living at Chateau des Lions since April of 2016. I love the location and how easy it is to access different routes to my favorite places off of Ambassador. Having Rousse's right across the street is great!. The grounds are always beautifully maintained and the personnel are welcoming and helpful. I feel safe here. Pool is wonderful and so is the exercise room that I've been too lazy to use. lol..... Kathleen Timmons

I have enjoyed living here the last 3 years. The office staff is professional and address any problem quickly. The maintenance guys are great, friendly and competent. Probably the thing I like most, is the small dirt area at the front door, that you can plant and keep up as you wish. And the trees are mature and beautiful. My only regret is the cutting down of the tree in front of my apartment entrance. Basically, if I needed an apartment in Lafayette, this is the perfect one. Dale Stewart

I have been living here since late June (2016). I really like it here! The staff is professional, yet friendly; maintenance is quick and very well kept for the courtyards. I recommend this place for anyone! One person, couples or families. This place has a lot to offer, the community is gated, washer/dryer comes in every unit (no need to bring your own), spacious pool, tennis court, fitness center, fully stocked pond with keep what you catch policy for fishing, courtesy officer available 24/7, courtyard view with every apartment and all appliances for kitchen! The best part is that it is one of the few apartments in Lafayette that all residents get their own private garage. Also, out of the 20 or so places I looked at in the area, this one had one of the best staff - renter relationships, meaning when I was being shown the units I was treated more like a familiar friend or family member rather than just another person looking for a place to live.

I have been living here with my husband for over ten years, and it would take finding the holy grail of houses to get me to leave. We lived in a two bedroom for the first 3 years then moved to a three bedroom after our child was born, and both floor plans are spacious and very well laid out. The interiors really feel more like a nice house and less like any other apartment I've ever been in. The amenities are also reminiscent of luxury condos; each apartment has a full sized washer and dryer, spacious walk in closets, and private garages along with communal amenities like the pool, tennis court, gym, fishing pond, and beautifully landscaped courtyards. More than anything what continues to impress me time and again is the service I have received from the friendly staff. The maintenance crew is quick to repair any problem I have had from small things like changing a light bulb that was too hard to reach to big things like fixing my air conditioner after hours in the middle of July. They are constantly doing fun things for the residents as well like holiday parties and serving breakfast in the clubhouse. Anyone who decides to live here will not have any regrets!

We've lived here about 4 months now. We absolutely love it here! Everything about it is convenient. Gates community, washer/dryer, attached garage, pool, tennis court, fitness center, pond, courtesy officer private patio, courtyard view with every apartment and all appliances for kitchen! The staff is professional, maintaince quick and very well kept for the courtyards. I recommend this place for anyone! One person, couples or families. They have everything you need!

The apartment complex has a pool, weight room and well kept common areas that include BBQ/picnic areas. Quiet community but also kid friendly, some of the apartments offer a 2 car garage!! The mall, grocery store, pharmacy and library are within walking distance. We've been here 2 years without incident, it's also a gated community so that's helps I'm sure.

I love living here! The apartments are set up to feel very spacious and home like. I love walking around the huge courtyard areas between the buildings. Being able to pull into an enclosed garage that goes straight into the apartment is by far one of the best features. Also, the staff and maintenance are simply the best. Anytime there is even the slightest issue, they are immediately available to help.
As I was shopping for a secure and comfortable area in a new city chateau de lion was the best I seen
They have been very helpful, kind, and professional. I need to move last minute and travel for. They accommodated everything I needed. The apartments are very clean, well built and managed. The community is quit and friendly. I could not have picked a better place.
