Lee’s Summit is a medium-sized suburban community just outside the southwest corner of Kansas City. The downtown area in the center of Lee’s Summit is an attractive retail district full of locally-owned specialty shops, restaurants, and nightlife venues housed in historic buildings. The city has developed a healthy tourism sector with many cultural and natural attractions all around, including the Longview Mansion, Missouri Town 1855, Powell Gardens, and the enormous Fleming Park.
The local schools perform exceptionally well, and the crime rate is well below the state and national averages. Lee’s Summit is a great place for commuters to find houses and apartments, with the drive into Kansas City only being around thirty minutes (Amtrak service between the cities is available as well, although the trip takes about an hour).

The location is unbeatable! There are so many great places nearby, and being right off the highway makes getting around so easy. The parking garage behind the building is a huge perk—especially in the winter since I don’t have to shovel snow off my car. It’s the perfect mix of convenience and comfort!

Nothing but great things to say about Century West Pryor. Ive been here for about a year and a half now and don’t have a single complaint. Courtney and Latasha are two leasing agents here that I’ve been in contact with on many occasions. They are both outstanding at what they do. I haven’t had anything but great interactions with them or any of the staff here! They are all very professional and extremely helpful. The maintenance crew and cleaning staff have kept this place in great shape inside and outside of the units as well. The staff make this place a joy to live here. Century West has definitely exceeded my expectations. If you want a great apartment in the perfect location come see Courtney or Latasha!

Oh my gosh, I love living here!! Every time I walk in the lobby I feel like I’m on vacation! The staff are so nice and you cant beat how centrally located it is to everything! If you decide to move here, it will be the decision you’ve ever made!

I just moved in a couple months ago and I am loving it! The pool is open and warm, and maintenance always comes out in a timely manner and repairs right the first time. Love it here !

I wouldn’t ask my worse enemies to rent from this company. Please take your business elsewhere- cars are broken in to monthly, police are called way too often for what you pay to live here. There are extra fees on rent every month with no warninga the company and management are not honest. This is supposed to be luxury living but is mediocre at best. When I moved in I was excited to tell people where I live, now it’s embarrassing. Truly a disappointment.

It seems like the new management company decreased the amount of times the cleaning services visit. The garage door has been broken for almost 2 months. Trash rooms are left with broken trash bags on the floor until trash pick up once a week. If you move here make sure to pick the 4th floor the walls are paper thin and echo because of the wood flooring.

They gave away the unit I was promised. I was moved into an unfinished unit, filthy and covered in dead bugs. No appliances, wires loose, pipes unconnected. It’s been one frustration after another. Every time I turn around, they are throwing fees at me they “forgot” when I moved in, the amount I owe changes almost every day without explanation. They refuse to communicate. It’s a shame, this could have been a great place to stay, it’s beautiful, but I’m not the only one complaining about the poor management. Can’t wait to be free of the endless headache they’ve given me.

Very disappointed by the lack of attention to security and safety issues, since moving here in July. Beware of poor lighting in the garage, unsecured exterior building doors, vehicle breakins, sloppy carpet installation and others. Staff has made a lot of excuses and promises. This is not the lifestyle we expected; already looking to move.
