Central Park Apartments

I paid my deposit 5 months ago to move into a 4 bedroom with 3 friends before school starts. We have been told 3 different things about move in dates. The management recently informed us that we cannot have a move in date until "maybe 5 days in advance" if you are moving here from out of state or the area, that is extremely difficult to plan. With such a huge apartment complex, you would think they had the organization and work flow down to prevent this. This week I have left 3 messages for the manager to call and no one has called me back. At this point, I hope we can all get moved in and settled before school actually starts.

WILL CHARGE YOU 3k IN DAMAGES!! Lived here last year of college. Everything was good until we moved out. Charged us 3k for carpets!? We asked if we needed to get the carpets done professionally and they said it doesn’t matter because they replace it after every tenant. I wish we got that in writing because now they’re trying to make us pay for their renovations. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

Central Park has some of the finest guest services. It is a fabulous place to live with lots of friendly people. No complaints, only good things to say.

It’s great to live here! The park nearby is nice and there’s a pool and gym (also a ping pong table). Lots of people from CWU are here!

Central Park is a great place to live. The front desk and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful, and timely. The units are spacious and well-maintained for only slightly above the average cost of similar units in Ellensburg. Just make sure to ask questions to help you navigate any processes and keep up to date on the resident portal and you will have a great time living there.

Beautiful, well taken care of, perfect location thats really close too campus. Rent a little spendy but worth it for all amenities that are provided for you.

Amazing complex! Very kind and helpful staff and gorgeous landscape and clean apartment interior. Parking is also very efficient and not crowded.

Central Park is a good place for students willing to find roommates. The location is within 10 min of basically anything needed and the noise level is relatively low most days. Apartments have good spacing and feel cozy once set up! Overall a good experience so far!

Management was super approachable and helpful during the application process. They facilitate the experience of getting your first apartment!

Central park is a beautiful place with many different floor plans to choose from. But they do not have recycling and the trash cans are far apart and too tall to just put your trash in. At night its scary cause 2/3 of the trash cans are in dark corners of the parking lot.

We have lived here for two years and have constantly had issues with management. They are dishonest and practice poor business ethics. Honestly, I feel bad for the employees that work for this company. I personally would not be able to treat people this way and sleep at night. We moved into a poorly constructed unit that was still dirty from construction and the rent kept rising while they constantly pressure tenants for early lease renewal. We were lied to about our reserved unit’s construction progress on multiple occasions, and none of the listed amenities have been completed during our stay here. Good luck! Rent elsewhere

The majority of the five-star reviews are written by friends and family of employees, which should be your first indication that something here isn’t right. We first moved here in September 2019 after months of lies about our apartment being finished when it was months away from being done. Construction here has been ongoing and we still have not had access to all the amenities we were promised, but that doesn’t stop them from raising your rent every 9 months. There is extreme pressure to resign your lease 5 months early and the price raises if you don’t resign right away. That is, if they don’t feed you some more lies about not being able to guarantee your same apartment for the next year due to “federal regulations” that no one seems to be able to explain. There are also issues with loud neighbors partying until early morning, dog poop everywhere from irresponsible owners, and the dumpsters overflowing with trash for days, which I have been told multiple times by employees is “not our problem.” Some of the office staff also don't bother to wear masks when interacting with tenants despite COVID regulations. The only real positives here are the low utility costs, the views (if you're lucky enough to be on the third or fourth floor facing out), and the maintenance staff, who are the only employees who have been friendly and helpful the entire time we've lived here.

Maintenance staff along with front desk staff is very personable and patient, will work with you to get an issue solved. Very kind and outgoing, when maintenance is needed they provide great communication on a potential timeline along. Overall great staff and would recommend Central Park to anyone!

The people at Central Park have been welcoming to us through the whole experience from walking through the apartments to move in day. The apartment was clean and taken care of when we got here so that was also nice.
