Established in 1942 by the United States Government, Oak Ridge was formed to be the site of the Manhattan Project—the secret World War II program that developed the atomic bomb—and the home base for the tens of thousands who worked on the project, along with their families. Quick Response I submitted a claim in the morning and by that afternoon they had the AC fixed! I've never lived in an apartment before but have always heard horror stories about repairs so I was very skeptical about my issue being resolved. At Centennial Village, thru their user friendly website I was able to log into my account and submit my maintenance request! Did I mention it was fixed the SAME DAY??!!!?? I honestly cannot say enough for things about living here!

Great Place! Only issue I currently have is that the far access gate is bent backwards so far you have to pretty much curb check to be able to reach dial pad. And the front access gate, people have to swing so wide to access it that they have almost hit me doing so as leaving from other side. If the placement of those could be adjusted, this place would that much better

Maintenance review Excellent job by our maintenance team as usual. The service was very prompt and timely. In the past I have been home during maintenance and the staff has been courteous and knowledgeable and quick to fix the issues. When I am not at home, they leave a note with the details of the issue that was fixed. Have nothing but great things to say about our maintenance team.

A/C not working properly My A/C was not working properly, I called the office and it was sent in as an emergency maintenance issue. Brandi showed up in less than 15 minutes and fixed it on the spot! Fantastic maintenance crew!

Logan is absolutely wonderful and has me set up to move into one of the 2 bed units here. The third floor is worth the 2 flights of stairs. My unit has vaulted ceilings that make it seem even bigger. Not to mention the view of the Lake!!!
Amazing views, well equipped unit, and everyone was so friendly!
We stayed at Centennial Village apartments for approximately six months. It was an okay enough apartment. We terminated our lease early due to an ongoing bee issue in our apartment and a family member who is highly allergic. The management staff did call out orkin on multiple occasions but they were unable to solve the issue. We decided to terminate our lease for his safety though the lack of amenities was also mentioned in our notice and a point of frustration. We were still required to pay the $1,000 early termination fee and the apartment put on our final statement that we left for lack of amenities with no mention of the safety/bee issue. Bottom line: the apartment was alright/average but we felt the management staff could have been more understanding of why we needed to leave. They had the ability to wave or lesson the early termination fee but chose not to.

Just renewed our lease to live here for a second year. The one time we had a maintenance issue (microwave had died) they came and replaced it almost immediately. Everyone is so kind and the property is kept extremely clean. The residents are also so lovely and respectful. I truly love it here!

Office staff is incredibly rude. After we were told we were unable to renew our lease 2 months prior we were also told by the rude office manager Amy that by law they didnt have to tell us. Extremely unprofessional. Old management was great. Walls are paper thin, can hear a conversation clear as day in the neighboring apartment and snoring all night from the upstairs neighbor. I have talked to several people that live here that say they deal with the same thing.
We have to move, however, we will miss the folks on the staff here at Centennial. Maintenance guys, the ladies in the office, and of course, Amy the manager will be missed.
