Property Ratings at Cedar Grove
Do not move here, the front office will never help unless or answer unless it’s rent related. I had a moldy closet for TWO MONTHS from a water leak that happens every year. Cedar grove is a horrible place to live. There is trash everywhere. Every neighbor I’ve spoke to has said they never fix anything in their units either. It took me 5 tickets, 10 calls, 2 in person visits and about 7 emails to Corp for it to get fixed. The units are highly outdated and the rent will continue to go up each time you renew

I am in love with my apartment. The community is quiet and my 1 bedroom apt is beautiful. The balcony is big and shaded. The only thing is I wish it was screened in. The buildings need pressure washing but overall i rate this 5 stars
Did a tour and wow! Old appliances, lighting, cabinets as well. If the carpet was in better condition maybe. Breezeways were nasty and littered. There was smell of marijuana lingering in the air. I thought it was quiet but realized it was the fact there were lots of vacancies. All I can say is NO! Almost forgot, office was very dirty,
You never really find out what an apartment community is like until you live there. I live ( for a little while longer) in building 1, in an apartment that frequently is vacant. Why was it vacated by the previous 2 tenants before me? It looks nice... In this case, the scenario is , looks good from the outside, but rotten on the inside. If you value peace & quiet, scratch Cedar grove of your list, for there is little to be had here. Noisiest place I have ever lived, including college. Groups of rowdy unsupervised youth continue to raise the noise level to the point where you should expect NO peace and quiet in your own apartment . Kids throw & kick balls against the side of the buildings & management does nothing. Had a baseball almost go through my window the day before the hurricane struck, and management does nothing. Unattended youth run and scream through breezeways and up & down stairwells, which amplify the sound even more, & management does nothing. Trash left in stairwells and in front of building almost nightly and besides having it picked up, management, ( guess) Rowdy unescorted youth Trash the club house . And management, Yeah you guessed it Unescorted youth destroys exterior plasma tv in exterior courtyard. and management, ( you think there is a pattern here?) Oh yes they say they" talk to the individuals who are pointed out, but surprise, they deny doing it, so there ends the story! Staff says they " Love there job & their tenants..." and " customer service is there first priority..." and " service first..." And at the end of the day, the staff can't wait to get out of the office. Don't be anywhere near the office doors by 5:25 lest you wind up trampled in the egress. Sad, because with a firm hand and some real disciplinary actions against those who ruin the quality of life for others, this could be a nice place to live, but 2 out of the 3 women who are the management team, don't manage anything and avoid actually standing up to the irresponsible parents and rude, nasty children that ruin the living experience here. The third, is told to ...wait for it... DO NOTHING!!!!) After all, if someone leaves, they have another vacant unit to fill. That would mean more work, and perhaps uncomfortable questions to answer about noise, rowdy kids vandalism and an almost total lack of parental supervision of rowdy, and increasingly vulgar youth.
Cedar Grove is a great place to live for pet owners. They are very pet friendly here without weight limits. In fact it's one of the only places that I could find which allows my dog. Also, the pool, tennis court, and clubhouse are great. There is also the 24 hour fitness center which is very convenient.
Cedar Grove Apartments in North Charleston, SC is a wonderful living community. The apartments are very spacious and the community is very welcoming. All staff are friendly and respond to tenants request in a timely manner. The pool area is wonderful and was just remodeled to include a grill area where family and friends can congregate to enjoy the outside atmosphere. I enjoy living here and recommend it to others.
This is the Perfect Apartment Complex to live in if you want to be close to Boeing, The Mall, Tanger Outlets, Loads of other Shopping Centers and the Airport ! I love how welcoming the entrance to the complex is and fell in love with the scenery. Beautiful views from my third floor apartment. Awesome balcony and the ladies that work in the front office are wonderful !
