Property Ratings at Caspian Apartments
Day three and still no Hot water, I’ve tried calling management numerous times no one picks up, I call later on phones are turned off I try the “On call” maintenance and no shows up this is ridiculous at this point anyone else experiencing this issue? I can’t use the maintenance app because nothing has been transferred over yet that’s because we moved in last year in November.
I currently live here. Moved in March 2023. I chose one of the newly renovated up graded unites. I have constantly had issues. For weeks my kitchen would back up. Eventually that got fixes to only have the apartment across from me start leaking sewage from its front door. Stinking up my walkway. The next day after the sewage leak got fixed my kitchen sink started varying up. They don't care about your living conditions they just want your money. The staff turn around is out of control. I had hight hope for this place but it's clearly living up to its reputation
Great place to live in , Very nice Apartments upgraded units , Property looks amazing . The staff is great Belinda and Brooke and the entire office personal will help you in any way possible. Belinda is very genuine she will go far and beyond to help you . Never have to wait for anything to be fixed in my apartment. Maintenance work's very hard to have the property looking amazing. But it starts with a great leadership and that would start Mrs. Belinda.
I moved out in August of 2021 after giving 60 days written notice and living without AC for months in 90+ inside temperatures. In April 2022 a collection account popped up on my credit report for $2300 showing I owed unpaid rent starting in Dec 2021. I contacted the office and was told they couldn't even find a record that I lived there. But they didn't remove the account from collections so I assume they think I'll pay for an apartment I didn't live in and apparently didn't have a lease for. My second attempt at resolving this just got me transfered to someone who doesn't answer or return calls. If you love heat, roaches and randomly paying for nothing then you've found your perfect home.
Apartments are INFESTED with roaches, they will NOT spray your apartment so be prepared to spend $$ trying to help fix the roach problem because they do not supply you with anything, police are always here (not in the good way), neighbors are so loud during all times of day, neighbors are disgusting!!! Seriously, look elsewhere. It is definitely over charged for living in a roach pit!!!
love it here, nice apartments, good living. BUT too many gun shots being heard, somebody always tries to jiggle my door late at night, and the vacant apartment next to mine was broken into
Quick Summary, Mold in apartment, cockroaches everywhere, dirty washing machines, homeless people around my apartment asking for weed and meth. VERY LOUD at night with random gathers all night, in the pool in the street outside my window and cars with loud music driving by. The staff doesn't care about you, only care about money not solving problems. To clarify another review. No utilities are paid for, they charge you a fixed $30 fee for water which for a single or two people is overcharging.

I called to schedule an appointment to tour with a lady named Sonya ,she was very professional and friendly, and provided me prices and fees required. I went to property the staff was nice and professional. They even had free doggy treats in the office for my Chloe :). I move in on October 10th. I'm excited about my new home.

Recently helped a friend move in here. First off there is a bullet hole through the stop sign in front of the leasing office. Clearly not a good area. I also noticed a herd of stray cats. And on top of that I noticed a lot of roaches helping her move in.

I just don't even know where to begin! I contacted Marbella last week about finding a place for my son and as it turns out, the former manager of where I live now, his name is Seth, works at Marbella now. I didn't think much of it until JUST NOW, a neighbor comes to my house saying he heard I am moving out and I am like, where did you hear such a thing? And he said from Seth, who even told this man my apartment number!! I am LIVID!
I was happy to have a place that is accepting of my pup, and the fee was so low compared to other places I have looked. My pup loves to run around the dog park area, and they even gave him treats in the office. The office staff shower him with attention when I walk in.
Such a great home for us and our pets! We moved in to Marbella about 2 years ago and have loved living here. We have lived in several apartments and have had really loved our home here. Our dogs love the large dog park and the office staff are all so nice every time we go in. The summers are great for having family over as my niece loves the pool here. Their maintenance staff is always very kind and quick to take care of our work orders. I would definitely recommend these apartments.
We have recently moved out of Marbella and had a great overall experience. We lived in two different apartments during our time there and the staff inside and out was always very courteous. We never had any issues with our neighbors and my daughter loved the size of the complex as it gave her a lot of space to play outside. The maintenance guys were always very kind when they did have to come by to fix something and the office was always so glad to help my daughter and I whenever we went by. I would definitely recommend these apartments.
These apartments have been the best thus far any time I need any Maintenance issues resolved it is taken care of immediately. I've live here almost 2 years and the girls in the office are always super nice and helpful! Always have a smile when i come in the door and I get my coffee after dropping of rent each month!! the area is very peaceful and all my neighbors have been great!! They have a huge dog park for my puppy and a play area which my kids love!!
Amazing agents. I had been looking for an apartment and they gave me the most amazing help. Any question and every question were answered and they got us moved in within two weeks. I enjoy the small playground they have a long with the tennis court. Very friendly environment. Very quiet environment also. I very much recommend this complex. Alyssa was a lot of a help and I appreciate the quick response when needing something repaired. 5 stars for overall experience and comfort.

I've lived here going on a year and a half and have transfer a few times as well but on each apartment it was brand new carpet paint appliances! Bugs we're never a big issue since I use home defense and they also offer pest control! It's very quiet we just keep to yourself and have had no issues, maintenance is always very quick to fix any issues I have as well, my patio is huge!! And I have an all bills paid apartment which I love! Definetly would recommend this place to any of my friends
Idk how some people still work here! So rude when you walk in! No smiles or hello. The terrible manager is gone but wish she took her asst.! If I didnt have to pay my rent I'd never go in the office.
I have lived here for almost one year and have got 2 new apartments. The office works with you very much and I will say this is the easiest place I have ever lived. If your in the area check out a one bed room or a lift it's a great starter property for a young professional. I give it 4 stars but if the pools were re surfaced and irrigation put in it would be unstopable. Good job guys!
This is the absolute worse place to live. A relative's roommate was assaulted by one of the downstairs neighbors this past Sunday. A couple was banging on the door at 6am asking if they wanted to party. My relative says they always play their music loudly and are drunk a lot. Anyway they were told no and the couple got belligerent and would not leave. It was obvious they were drunk and or high. The girl goes downstairs and gets two loaded guns and comes back upstairs and hits the roommate with one of the guns. She goes to jail but was released the same day. Last night the roommate and her brother were walking and were chased by the couple in their car. They run into the apartment just in time as a knife was impaled through the door. Police were called as well as the property manager. A search was conducted by the knife could not be located. In the end the relatives roommate gets an eviction notice as she is determined to be the one causing all the trouble. I fail to understand how this is possible as they did nothing, had no drugs or weapons and were minding their own business. The property manager even told the people not to worry because she had their back. She did not even try to be sympathetic to my relative's roommate who was clearly the victim in all this. She was not concerned that a huge knife had been used in an attempt to retaliate and harm others as well as damage the property she manages. I understand also that the same knife was used to cut a witness to the incident on Sunday. I'm glad my relative and her roommate will not be staying there regardless of how they had to leave. Their lives obviously are in jeopardy as well as anyone who comes in contact with that couple. Changing the name has not changed the caliber of people who reside there or manage it.
I have lived at Marbella for about five years and am still very pleased. When we initially moved here, there were many concerns from family members, being that it did not have a good reputation at the time. Since initially moving in, we have lived in two units here. Through the transition, the staff has been extremely helpful in getting our needs met. There were a few bumps a long the way, but with in the last two years, there has significant change for the better. The community definitely feels refreshed. The staff is always pleasant and glad to help. They have even started doing community events and give breakfast at the gate from time to time. We are dog people and the apartment complex has recently added several dog stations around the property which is great. We definitely don't regret moving here.
I love this place! Staff is friendly, property is always clean and they are very pet friendly! Work orders are never done past 2 days, which is great. They are always tending to my needs. It is overall a very quite place and great environment. My apartment was brand new when i moved in, everything was in its place and very clean. I definitely recommend Marbella Apartment Homes!
We broke our lease because we simply could not handle it anymore. I don't know what side the people from the other reviews lived on but that was clearly not the case for us. Yeah they sugar coat it with the 'newly installed carpet' & 'freshly painted walls' and 'new out-dated appliances'...they fooled us. I wish We would've looked around more before moving in but we were new to Corpus and had to make a decision quick. But where to begin..... Our neighbor apparently loved the stray cats that live on site, which resulted in our patio always being a resting place for them. A momma cat had two litters in our patio while we lived there and twice we ended up with a dead kitty there (for the first kitty maintenance took 3 days to pick it up)! And don't even get me started on the water. Numerous amount of times we would wake up to either the water heater shut off or the water shut off without warning. Another downside were the people that lived around us. There were ALWAYS people fighting or arguing outside. One time a car that parked next to us got its tires slashed and paint thrown all over it! I was 7 months pregnant when we moved out and I'm so happy I didn't have my baby there. Marbella/paradise bay...sorry not sorry.
The staff is extremely helpful and curteous. They have really changed this complex for the best. I had brand new carpet and counter tops when I first moved in. They are very attentive and the neighborhood is great!
DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. The feral cat problem is out if control. I have emailed Portico Managemment several times, only to be blown off. The problem continues to get worse. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. They turn off the water without warning. I have wasted money in their washing machines due to this and been left unable to bathe or wash dishes. This has been going on for about 9 months, sometimes daily. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. They promised upgrades including new carpet, kitchen and bathroom flooring, new hardware, track lighting and new appliances....none of which I have seen despite numerous conversations and promises on management's behalf. I eventually gave up and simpy asked that my old carpet be cleaned. Three weeks has gone by and nothing. Yet and still, they had the nerve to bug me over oweing them 54 cents for a month. DO NOT MOVE HERE. For $779, there are much better one bdrm apartments in this area with far better amenities and features. I AM REPORTING THIS PLACE TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
This is a wonderful place to live. It is situated near a residential area as well as shops and a grocery store. It is well shaded and comfortable living. the grounds are well-kept with plenty of garbage recepticals. The apartments are well maintained and the staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful. This apartment has a modest courtyard which is well-chaded and exudes Southern charm with its pool, lounge chairs, and outdoor dining tables. It's like having a touch of the Old Southern charm close to churches and a residential areas.
Looking for an apartment complex in corpus was difficult because there are so many to choose from. When looking at Marabella (formerly known as Paradise Bay) I was skeptical because of the rumors that I had previously heard. But the people in the offices were very nice in helping me make my transition from my previous rental apartment. They have very great prices and the apartments are spacious. I also love that I can pay rent online
We were very happy here at Marbella Apt. Homes. We have lived here for 13 years. Due to the economy, we have had to look for some where else to live. We are an elderly couple on fixed incomes and are having to move. The apt. complex tried to work with us but to no avail. Rent would still be out of our reach. The apartments are located across the street from banking, shopping and easy bus access.
