Property Ratings at Reserve At Birch Creek
I have lived at The Reserve for several years. In my experience, there are no perfect apartments, however, The Reserve at Birch Creek, which was Cascade Glen when I moved here, has been a good home to raise my family. Maintenance has many tasks each day, and they do their best to help everyone. Each Maintenance person always greets me and lets me know when any concerns that I have will be taken care of. Living in Atlanta, you have many choices, but I'm glad that I chose a place where I feel comfortable, where the staff cares and that is clean. Nowhere is perfect, but I appreciate people that do their best at all times. That is rare.
My family and I moved from another state to these apartments. Leasing management very disrespectful and when we seen our apartment it had dead roaches and all she said was oh that’s because they just sprayed. First night we moved the refrigerator and roaches came flying out. We had to move the refrigerator to the balcony and call maintenance. We didn’t have a refrigerator for a week and the leasing lady told us to put the infested refrigerator back in there, like you can’t be serious. Every time it rains the roof leaks and they say oh we’ll fix it and never come. Georgia State Patrol is always riding through the neighborhood because of the gun violence. Trash is every where and so is rats. If I could post the photos and videos I would. You’re better off moving to CLEVELAND AVE! Do not I repeat do not they show you fake models and your apartment will not look like that at all. I lived here for 5 months and could not take it, it’s so nasty and horrible.
Management is consistently changing, work orders are never completed, leaks , mold is consistent. I have been in my apartment for 8 years and my dishwasher has never worked. No where for the kids to play, trash is always smelling causing the neighborhood to smell and invite unwanted rodents such as possums and rats. Management is the worst, always has attitude and never useful. Trash pick up, pest control, and insurance services are something you should watch for in lease. They want to find you if trash is anywhere around your apartment but they want you to pay for a " trash pickup" the term used in trash pick up in the rental world is someone who comes around and pick your trash up- it's a trash valet service which we don't receive. The pest control services which we pay for is never around when the nets, roaches, spider, flies, other insects are taking over your apartment as if it's their apartment. Dishwasher causes plumbing problems in tub area and bathroom - literally when I tried to cut it on it flooded my kitchen and sewer water was coming out of tub. Please be aware of the teenagers that walks around apartment complex with guns and well as whenever visitors/ residents decide that they want to have a shoot out. Please for your sanity DONOT move here.
Not the best place to live in. Roach infested, sorry front office, and dangerous neighborhood. Rarely any parking outside and trash always over flowing! Run, don’t rent here!
