Property Ratings at Casa Del Rio
The management here sucks they take over a month to fix hot water they don't fix your air conditioner quick enough when they do upgrades they believe that after you've had at least for a year that they could just throw you out and make you find another place to live so I would not recommend this place to anyone thank you
Property Manager at Casa Del Rio, Responded To This Review
I'm sorry you are not happy with the management... I called AC company the day my maintenance person said it wasn't anything they could fix and the company came the earliest they could. Your AC is not the only one in town. As for your hot water leak, even to this day, I still have nothing in writing, as required, yet I sent a maintenance person to work on it as soon as I could. Gas leaks and hot water heaters are more of a priority at other properties. As for throwing you out, your lease is up in October and I gave you notice in April that it will not be renewed. Ample time and more than I legally have to. Thank you for your time
I love living here. This is a quiet and friendly community. The units are very spacious and the management team are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend living here.
I've lived in this complex for 5 years, and now, after about a year with new management, I have to say, I cannot wait to move. The last manager was overworked, probably underpaid, and definitely not trust worthy from a tennant standpoint. Now it's been over a week, in the late part of the summer, and my air conditioning went down. Do they call a contractor to come have it fixed?, no. They depend on 1 or 2 people to fix every unit they have, and they have 5 apartment complexes. Now it's been over a week, and I go to the manager's office, and she actually told me that I was griping to her because my a/c is broken. Gripping!?, that's what they think of their tennants, as problems. I'm not important enough to just call a company to fix it, and so I sit, like an idiot waiting for their incompetent manner of doing business to address the problem, and yes, she actually had the nerve to remind me that they have 180 apartments. It's been over a week, I have been without a/c, in this part of the state, that is not cool, and I used to do this line of business. Amy is her name, and I would not live in this complex If I were you, and as soon, as I can, I will move somewhere, they at least are able to address a problem within an expectable amount of time.
