Nestled in the Mesilla Valley with the Organ Mountains as its backdrop, Las Cruces combines rich Southwestern heritage with contemporary living. New Mexico State University is central to the community, contributing to the cultural landscape of New Mexico's second-largest city. The area features hiking trails throughout the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument, community parks, and historic Mesilla Plaza, where traditional luminaria displays illuminate the plaza during holiday celebrations. Housing choices span from newer developments in the east side to traditional adobe homes near downtown. Current rental rates show one-bedroom apartments averaging $980 monthly, reflecting a 4.4% annual increase, while two-bedroom units typically rent for $1,126.
Las Cruces celebrates its chile-growing heritage throughout the year, including the annual New Year's Eve Chile Drop downtown.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The Manager listens to respond but she never listens to understand. They will drive you crazy trying to deal with them.
We came today on the agreed move-in date. We finished all the needed paperworks and applications for gas, electricity, sewage and internet. We finished everything but we had to wait for their 12:00 to 2:00 lunch break before we can have the keys. Despite of the wait, the unit is still under repair. Repairmen are working on the doors, windows etc. So we have to wait in our car at 2:30 PM until I don’t know when as I am writing this as this is happening. We have to go back to Alamogordo to get the rest of our stuff and we don’t know how long we have to wait for the unit to be ready. Imagine you are in our position. The staff doesn’t know what honesty and credibility means. Very deceitful and disappointing. Hope we saw this before we signed a one-year contract. I hope they change their attitude and be sincere and honest to their customers.
Perfectly good college apartment. The apartments on the east end of the complex are the quietest, but noise from the sports bar on Espina is more intrusive. Lots of pool parties means that living near the pool will be loud, your call. They close the pool for most of the winter months. The gym is always clean and useable. Management is difficult to start a lease with when you're out of town, take it from me, just set everything up in person.
This is a wonderful apartment building, location is great. Right across New Mexico State University. Plenty of fun, tasty restaurants. Staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The common areas and perfectly set up, pool is maintained and cleaned. This is beyond what normal apartments offer, every apartment complex should be exactly like this one. It is so peaceful and neighbors are friendly and out going. It's like having your own separate property where nobody disturbs you.
