It has been a nightmare staying here since I’ve moved in. There were roaches all over the apartment when I did a walkthrough before my movers showed up. Management did nothing but offer to spray and avoid me for weeks and never followed up to see if the spraying worked. They also show up at your apartment at all times unannounced. At one point the manager and pest control came in through my patio door and the manager proceeded to open my bedroom door and walk in while I was sleeping. Whenever they show up, they set my alarm off and walk all through my apartment even if I’m there.

Maintenance and staff are very helpful; they reply quickly and are kind. However, unless you’re on the third floor or live in a unit with no upstairs neighbors- it’s a horrible place to live. Hardwood floors lead to the LOUDEST apartment experience I’ve ever had. I can every single step our upstairs neighbor makes and their dog, which is tiny, sounds like a herd of elephants as it runs across their apartment. The way this building is built is horrible; hotels are quieter than this place. They HAVE to put some sort of insulation or noise reducing something to make this a bearable place to live. Unless you can sleep through a hurricane, no amount of box fans/noise machines/ earplugs will get you through a night at this complex.
I was really afraid to sell my home and move into an apartment but I knew it was time. I just couldn't take care of things like I use too. The Carrington At Schilling Farms was so perfect for me. I have been here since they opened their doors and I plan on staying till I just can't. Etta and Krista have been amazing to me. They deliver packages to my door and go out of their way to assure all items that may arise are addressed right away. I hear so many good things about the service here. In a day where hospitality is in short supply, it flows here.
