Carriage House East

I lived here for several years, and had a fine experience overall. The apartments are spacious, if a little dated. The community is quiet and most people are friendly. The office and maintenance staff are friendly as well. However, my move out process was extremely disappointing, which is why I am only leaving 2 stars. Staff asked if they could do a final walk through without my presence, so they could get started painting etc as a holiday weekend was right before the next tenant moved in. The walk through is supposed to allow for a tenant to fix any issues that may be taken out of the security deposit. I agreed on two conditions, that they would call with any problems so I could address them, and that they leave my last box there for me to pick up when I returned my keys. When I turned in my keys, the box was gone and no one knows what happened to it. In addition, I was not notified of any problems with my walk through and yet I only got a little more than half of my deposit back. I was attempting to help staff by being flexible, and it cost me quite a bit of money that I now won’t get back. They told me there is nothing they can do about my box or my deposit. I am very disappointed and frustrated.

I have been living at this complex for 2 years. I was brand new to the area and I was taking a shot in the dark moving to a new area and moving into this complex and let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. This is truly my home away from home. The complex looks exactly like the pictures and the grounds are extremely well kept. Maintenance is responsive and timely. Kim (the leasing manager) is absolutely wonderful. She is pleasant, helpful, caring, and honest. I’ve had pleasant encounters in every interaction with both her and the maintenance staff. Living at Carriage House East has set my apartment expectations very high. I would highly recommend living here, I promise you won’t regret it.

I shared a two bedroom apartment with my friend and we absolutely loved it! It was way bigger than we expected! We had such a great size living room and bedrooms! Kim was incredibly helpful and so nice - truly every staff member was so great!! I loved sitting outside at the picnic area they have in the middle of the apartment complex. It was a great, safe, welcoming place to live!

I had the most amazing experience at Carriage House. All of the residents were so friendly, the apartments were so much bigger than I anticipated, and the prices were reasonable. But most importantly, the leasing agents are incredible. Kim won us over! She will brighten your day with just a conversation. I highly recommend this apartment complex!

I lived in Carriage House East for a few months prior to getting a job in another state and needing to move. I loved living here - the leasing company keeps the place immaculate and the apartment is very big. I love working with Kim, the leasing agent. She is knowledgable, professional, and very warm.

I was in Carriage House for several months before I had to relocate long distance for family. At the time, I was very nervous because finding someone to take over the lease can be nerve-wracking, and apartments are not always accommodating. Kim in the office walked me through the process and helped me feel comfortable with it. She was optimistic and supportive, totally understanding of my reasons for the move which was a relief! While I was renting, I had two maintenance requests that got addressed on the same day, no issues. What I loved about my time at Carriage House was that I could pop in the office at any time and Betty or Kim would be there with answers, both always cheerful and helpful! I've rented from apartments that feel like they don't care about you, don't know you, or are trying to swindle you. Carriage House is NOT like that at all. The office team is organised, friendly, and feels like your best friends and advocates. I loved my apartment (fireplace unit, so cozy!), was so pleased with the maintenance, and incredibly grateful for the help and support from Kim when it came time for me to make a transition. You can tell that the staff is local and invested in maintaining a genuine rapport with you. It was a great experience and I wish I could have taken the apartment with me when I moved!!!!!!

I lived at Carriage House East for the better part of a year, and it was delightful. If it wasn't for moving closer to my new job, I wouldn't have moved away.

I lived in one of the 2 bedroom units with my 2 children from 2015 - 2017. I really enjoyed living there and it felt like home from the first day. Kim and Mike helped so much to make my move easy and if there was any issue they were prompt to address it and help out. The apartments were clean, comfortable in all seasons, and everything always worked well. I used to enjoy sitting out on my balcony and look at the view of the hillside behind my building.....it rarely felt like I was in an apartment. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment in the FM area. The only reason I moved was because it became time for me to purchase my own home so that my children could have their own rooms. Otherwise I would have been happy to stay there indefinitely!

I lived at Carriage House East from 2007 to 2014.I had a great experience living there. The rental agent Kim and her assistant Betty were always friendly and very helpful in solving any problem that arose.Kim was the best Rental Agent I ever had;She would go out of here way to help you with any situation. . I Also thought the Mainenance Staff ,headed up by Mike was always very friendly and helpful.They would take care of the situation in 30 minutes. . The grounds were beautifully kept.Overall I would highly recommend these apartments.
