Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Carriage Hill Apartments. We're happy we could meet your expectations!
Being a 55+ community gives you a quiet living atmosphere. You can sit on your porch and chat with your neighbors, picnic in the grassy courtyard or have casual get-togethers to watch the birds. The apartments are scattered in a beautiful area full of trees and nature. There is plenty of scenery for walking with your friends. I found that the residents look out for each other and are helpful when someone is in need. The rent is also more affordable than many apartments around the area, and we are centrally located near many restaurants, stores and the Belden Village mall for shopping. The office manager and maintenance men are friendly and attentive when an issue might arise, and the knowledgeable staff gets it done quickly. I have lived here with my husband since 2015 and after he passed away, I still feel I'm among family and friends and helped when I need it. Residents have group outings sometimes at the neighborhood park to celebrate a birthday or two and have gathered to play outdoor games. When the weather gets even warmer, we're looking forward to one day bus trips to local attractions or hit the road to Amish Country. There are plans for a community bulletin board where we will be advertising our own skills and talents, enabling us to teach each other something new to enjoy our retirement together. I'm looking forward to learning more in the technology area of smart phones and I-pads and streaming things. Every day I'm doing something with someone, and you can too.
