I have been living there for 5 years it is the most perfect and decent apartment you could ever live in. It has a garage,washer and dryer inside of your home, and the atmosphere is very lovely for kids they have a playground and also a park for the kids.also it is surrounded by elementary schools and middle schools not to mention the stores are in walking distance. You also have a movie theater in walking distance. I would recommend anyone who has kids and need all those luxury items in their apartment Carmel is the one.
This is a safe, gated community with spectacular amenities. The office staff is friendly and efficient. I live on the third floor, and it is such a quiet and warm environment. This community is great for any lifestyle, single or family. The floorplan for my unit is inviting, and has a washer and dryer, with a large kitchen( which are all recent remodels)and a huge master bedroom. Each unit has a large balcony which can fit furniture for four, to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. The gym has all types of equipment to meet any athlete's needs. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and patio areas are always clean and welcoming. There is even a wading pool and a playground for the kids. They offer after school tutoring and sports programs for students. A community calendar is provided each month, and events such as pizza nights or BBQ's ore planned for residents and guests. There are shopping centers, movie theatres and restaurants within one block, a short a quick walk. This community is a pleasant and comfortable place to call home.
The Carmel Apartments are in excellent condition and have a superior management team that manages these apartments like no other. The apartment buildings are painted on a regular basis and the grounds are always well kept. Any maintenance needs are handled quickly with outstanding customer service. I have never seen a better quality apartment complex in all of my nearly six decades of life.
I have lived in the carmels for 3 years and with 2 young boys it has been wonderful. They enjoy the safe and clean play areas as well as the pool. The property is well maintained and I love that all I gave to do is call for any issues to be handled in a timely manner. Santa even visited our unit via the carmels staff. Highly recommended.
I love the location of my apartment on the grounds and also that it is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Maintenance crew is always outstanding! Appliances could use a little updated...especially the dishwasher . As I have mentioned previously in other reviews. the insulation is not the greatest and it is easy to hear what is going on on the floors above me. Overall, I am thrilled to be here and plan on staying for a very long time! :-)
MY WIFE AND I BOTH LOVE LIVING HERE. THESE APARTMENTS HAVE A LOT OF GREAT AMENITIES SUCH AS A GYM, PLAYGROUND, POOL, SPA AND A BANQUET HALL THAT IS AVAILABLE TO RENT. IT IS IN WALKING DISTANCE TO A SHOPPING CENTER WITH CLOTHING STORES AND MOVIE THEATER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO OTHERS LOOKING FOR A GOOD SAFE PLACE TO LIVE.
Good location close to lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. Very noisy: Lots of dogs barking day and night, loud equipment being used most days
The community is quite good on its location with a view of San Gabriel mountains. Malls and everyday grocery stores are just 5 -10 mins by walk?? The community is well kept and maintained and the rent is reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who want to feel like at home without the feel of being a renter.
I moved here with my daughter about 8 months ago. I feel very safe, it's a gated community, which boasts beautiful landscapes and a VERY attentive staff! There have been things which have broken or needing fixing in my apartment and the maintenance is always there within 24 hours providing excellent and fast service. I recommend this complex to all my friends and family! Truly a comfortable place to raise my daughter. :)

We've been living at our place for almost 3.5 years and we love it. The complex is well kept, the maintenance crew is awesome, and the new staff is friendly and helpful. Every one that comes to visit, always complement on how the complex has the Resort Style Living... We couldn't be more happier elsewhere!!!
Our apartment is centrally located within walking or biking distance to many attractions like shopping, movies, grocery stores and award winning schools. You couldn't ask for a better location, and they say location is everything. We chose this apartment due to it's proximity to so much to do especially the award winning schools, parks and bike trails. You literally have nature right out your front door without the commute! The staff here at Lewis Properties are very professional and easy to work with. Of course as with everything and living in an apartment community, it is not perfect. The staff here try very hard to make the residents comfortable though and if a problem arises, they do their best to take care of it and resolve it as soon as possible. All in all this is not a bad place to live, and we plan on living here for quite some time!
My family and I moved to Carmel 2 years ago. We moved from a house to an apartment. We knew that it would be a huge change. We had heard some horror stories about apartment living from friends, and so, we expected the worst. Living at Carmel has completely changed our ideas about apartment living. These apartments are well built and well maintained. We rarely hear our neighbors. When we visit the pool we feel like we are on vacation. The only thing I can possibly complain about is that our rent is raised every year. We just received our new lease agreement and again the rent is being raised. The most important aspect for me is that my family feels safe and we do feel that here. I recommend Carmel without reservation. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
I live in carmel apartments since 2012 . its been amazing so far . Management is really nice and professional. maintenance people are very polite and skilled. neighbors are awesome, caring and friendly . i would definitely recommend it for any of my friends to come and live in Carmel
