Situated about four miles southwest of Downtown Fargo and five miles southwest of North Dakota State University, Willow Park is a fast-growing neighborhood filled with mature trees and tidy homes along quiet streets. Apartments in Willow Park are not only convenient to downtown and the university, but they are also directly west of Rabanus Park and the West Acres Regional Shopping Center.
Willow Park extends from 13th Avenue south to I-94, with 45th Street South forming the eastern border. Willow Park is a mixed-use neighborhood with a variety of shops and restaurants scattered throughout. The northwest corner of Willow Park is home to Gordmans, a large department store, as well as restaurants like India Palace and Grand Junction Grilled Subs. Elissa and her team make this property shine. Elissa gave me the most amazing experience I have ever had when searching for an apt. Her and her team’s dedication and love to the job really shows through in everything they do, which made choosing Carlton Place an easy yes for me. I am excited for hopefully many years to come at Carlton Place.
Willow Park has been a great place for me ever since I have moved in. The staff along with other residents have been very friendly. It is continuously renovating and making life here better and better.
Carlton place is such a quiet and good area. The people in the office are always accommodating to your needs and super understanding. I appreciate them.
Goldmark is horrible. I will NEVER rent from them again. I Had my vehicle broken into in the underground parking and my Cadillatic converters cut off my vehicle in the same spot. The “safe” underground parking. Cost me thousands of dollars because neither were covered by insurance and no security cameras! I can’t wait to move out this week!
From what I’ve experienced, is it’s an amazing apartment complex. The maintenance seems to be the only issue I have with the complex as it does take longer than wished for repairs to be made. But with short staffing it’s understandable. The location is amazing and all around just a nice home to have.

With location being a prime need for me, it’s a beautiful area even with the snow. The maintenance is very timely and the management staff is extremely helpful throughout all processes for residents.

The locations are extremely convenient for anyone new in Fargo or wanting to be closer to stores. The apartments themselves are extremely nice and do come with a lot of utilities paid by the company themselves- so the eases of applications were amazing.

Carlton place is a nice and clean apartments for our community and all they need is to hire more maintenances.
Carlton Place is a poorly maintained property, it is often dirty for weeks at a time. the security doors are often broken, the front door has been pried open so many time the latch barley catches, you can see this looking at the door, it would be an easy fix yet never gets done. the back door will not open all the way, again an easy fix. If I knew someone looking for a place to live, I would recommend somewhere else.

I’m sorry to say, but it’s always dirty. The other day there was open, melted, half eaten containers of ice cream all over the 3rd floor lobby. Also the parking garage always smells bad.
Have lived here for a few years now, and most aspects of it are pretty great for what you're investing. BUT, there's been a repeated problem of the SAME car parking in my assigned spot over and over again and management has continued to say they would do something but they haven't. The perpetrator will undoubtedly continue to do so regardless of how many notes I leave them as the management needs to so they know it's serious. Seems kinda ridiculous to charge for reserved parking if I'm hardly ever able to park there. Today I got done with a 14hr shift after having spoken to them over my lunch, and the SAME CAR is still there. Terrible and unacceptable.

I was extremely happy to find all the amenities I could hope for in one place.
It is a nice neighborhood right across from a school. Whenever I sit on my balcony after the school hours are out the kids wave and say hi. They get really excited when my cat is out on the balcony. The hallways are clean and the people are friendly. Especially my landlord.
The maintenance here has been very good no matter what the issue maybe. We have had issues with a broken knob on the AC. And that was fixed in a prompt manner.

My impression of Carlton Place, owned by Goldmark, is it doesnt care so much about its residents but more about its bottom line. The staff is friendly and helpful but the company doesn't maintain its properties.

Its in a great spot in town with everything you need within a 5 minute drive. The building looks very nice and is just as nice on the inside. They also keep the building very clean and the management is also very professional. Everything we wanted we get here at Willow Park Apartments.
From the first call looking for a place to actual move in, the staff was so good to work with. Highly recommend living here.
Overall its good to stay in this community as my stay since 2014
I absolutely taken aback from my initial phone call about availability throughout the move in process, the staff has been amazingly courteous and communicated with me beyond what I've ever expected!, So much I can't put into words how pleased I am to be living here now !

Would recommend, Sometimes the Neighbors aren't the best but that's with any place you go. The Parks around the apartment are nice and my daughter loves the hill. Underground parking is nice.
Great place to live. Office staff is personable and promptly responds to maintenance requests. Many places to walk/run outside. Close in proximity to grocery stores, gas, etc. Carlton Place building 4 feels safe with many people walking by, located around other apartment complexes. Owners keep building clean and updated.
I'm extremely happy with all the amenities Willow Park offers and the assistance from the staff with any questions or concerns. The janitorial staff are very friendly and if you mention seeing something that needs to be taken care of, they're right on it.
Somerset 1 has no security and has a cockroach infestation problem. I do not recommend.

I have a great experience at the community and we have a great place to play in the summer time. The willow park is in the center of the town every think is close and affordable apartment.
Weve lived here for almost 2 years and absolutely love it and the management and maintenance are absolutely amazing!
Carlton has been a great place for my first apartment
Carleton place has a great community its right across the street from an elementary school and there are a lot of nice walking trails. The maintenance staff is very kind and they always get their work done in a timely manner. Carlton place is a safe place to live.
Overall its a great place to live. A few concerns is how some residents throw their trash anywhere and dont pick it up; how and some let their children run up and down the halls oftentimes yelling even after 10:00 pm. For what we pay for rent it would be nice to have some quiet at night.
This is the only time that is taking so long to get something done. It took three phone calls in 11 days. They thought maybe it was a misunderstanding but once they got here the work was done very well I love very nice gentleman did it so I was pleased with his work but would like to have it done sooner
