Located on the shores of Lake Erie in Northwestern Pennsylvania, Erie combines waterfront charm with city conveniences. The city's centerpiece, Presque Isle State Park, creates a protected harbor and offers 7 miles of public beaches, wetlands, and outdoor activities. Downtown Erie continues to grow with additions like the Flagship City Food Hall and Public Market, while the restored Warner Theatre, Erie Art Museum, and Maritime Museum showcase the area's rich culture and history. The rental market shows steady growth, with average one-bedroom apartments renting for $918, reflecting a 6% annual increase, while two-bedroom units average $1,329, up 6.1% from the previous year.
Erie's neighborhoods range from historic West 6th Street, known for its preserved Victorian architecture, to newer developments in the surrounding suburbs.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Carleton Court Apartments
Can not beat the location. Near the airport, Presque Isle State Park. Wegman's [grocery] right across the street. Able to have pets and garden. Only wish it was a smoke-free. All on one level - lots of room, our own patio [fenced] We have a 2 bedroom 1 bath - and while I would love another half bath - no plans on moving anytime. Nice neighbors and in a good area. The circumstances on how we got here - we know it was meant to be. Erie is perfect for sunsets and sunrises.
Office staff was ever so helpful; she has an elderly grandmom living in the complex and this, in itself, very telling to the caliber of the neighborhood(s). As soon as my current lease is up I am heading to an apartment home here. Location in Millcreek which offers an array of recreation, education, stores, etc. Maintenance done by experts. Great value for great living arrangements!
I never seem to get answer from e-mails. I always have to call. Staff does not seem to offer information. You have to ask everything. Community seems to be very clean. Lay out good. Livingroom seem a little small but nice,
Close to the New Walmart Supercenter, Wegmans and Presque isle. Excellent apartment for the price. Actually pretty quiet for being off 26th Street.
