I toured the community today and the renovated apartments are beautiful. The staff answered all my questions.
Ever since the new management has taken over the property has become a more welcoming environment. My family and I are so thankful for the wonderful & understand staff that works here! I would definitely recommend these apartments.

Ive had zero problems living here. Neighbors and management are great.
I applied for an apartment and was approved. I paid the application fee and down payment. I was never shown an apartment. I was promised every week that I could tour the apartment...well that never happened. After more than a month of promising me a place they decided to offer me a refund. Well that was 3 months ago...still no refund. They said tgat the accountant never did their job in getting this resolved. I called the corporate number that they give you to make you leave them alone. No answer SURPRISE. I have even talked to their manager at another property and she tried resolving my issue but still today I am waiting. My money can sit in my account and not theirs but obviously Cardinal Oaks property managers don't seem to think so after they promised me a refund. It is awful that I may have to seek legal advice for this amount of money. I am frustrated and feel like they have decided to keep my money. I want my refund.
Horrible! Don’t even waist your time. They have a a lot hidden fees. Very unprofessional. I didn’t even move yet and I can’t get my deposit of 150. You pay rent which is 699 for a one bedroom, and water when they don’t have a washer and dryer or connection inside of a apartment. & if you have bed bugs the second time they come you’ll be charged. On the phone she said only rent and lights no water. If I would of known I would of never put a deposit down. The area is not worth paying that much. As well as to move in you’ll be paying almost 800.00

First off I wouldn't even want my worst enemy to live there. The are roaches the size of rats it was an infestation. My neighbors threw party's every day and when I went to the office to place a noise complaint nothing was ever done. The ladies in the front office where EXTREMELY RUDE, not to mention they could care less about any issue you were having. The maintenance man came in and blamed every issue on you. And last but not least I had to miss days at work due to the apartment parking lot flooding when it rained. Worst place ever!!

The place is shoddily put together, and has tons of bugs. I had my place sprayed about 7 times in 6 months (if they were actually spraying), but it didn't do a thing about the bugs. I actually had problems getting rid of them even after I moved because they'd infected my stuff. I never saw the pool open, so I don't know if they ever do open it. Looked dirty just like the rest of the place. The apartment will promise you things, but never get around to doing them. The office staff switches out constantly and won't give you the correct information. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because Kevin, the maintenance guy, really does do his best to help out. I moved out of my apt in February 2017. I was told I would be getting $350 in deposits back within 30-45 days. I have called the apt manager (who confirms the amount), and the accounting department at the Lyndworld parent company 10-15 times since the 45 days expired in mid April. My calls are either not returned, or I am told the money is on the way. The accountant said he would talk to the regional manager and get the money expedited, but that has not happened. The regional manager has not returned my phone call in the 24-48 hours promised. I tried to call him again, but the person who answered the phone refused to transfer me to him, and then hung up on me when I said I wanted to make a complaint. She did not answer the phone when I called back, and I again left a message for the regional manager. I finally spoke with him and hopefully he'll have it taken care of by tomorrow like he said. It is nearly 3.5 months after I moved out, and I have not seen a penny of my deposit refunded.

Since my husband moved here the first night we saw we had roaches we told the office but they don't do anything about it. It really sucked because this is are first apartment here in Texas were coming from California are lease will be up in December and I'm looking for a new apartment ASAP

This place will be great for you if you enjoy your apartment infested with two inch long roaches, your AC never going under 85 degrees in the summer, your electricty bills over $200 because the old AC never shuts off, and half of your electrical plugs not working. Don't even get me started on the unprofessional management and untimely maintenance crew. The ONLY good thing about this place is that it's only about 5 minutes from Lamar. So glad I only signed a 6 month lease.
