College age students live in these apartments and throw frequent parties. Not a great place for professionals, and the property management has done nothing to resolve.

We have lived at Broadway Heights for a little over 6 months. They are by far the nicest, cleanest apartments in the eastern Des Moines area. Very close to shopping, good food and many activities. Also the price is VERY reasonable. The management team is very quick with resolving any type of issue/maintenance needs and they do offer many family oriented activities is the big courtyard area. Great place to live!!

The apartments are spacious and modern! The employees are very nice and accommodating to our needs and concerns. They always have fun things to do for the whole community. Events, activities, and more! Great onsite dog park as well! LP

I am in the income restriction housing and my only concern is the maintenance. Not super great, but everything else is awesome! Open concept, large living/kitchen space, and good sized rooms. Also, very convenient and affordable.

We live in a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment. Some of my favorites about the apartment: the balcony when it is nice outside, open design of the kitchen for cooking & having people over, spacious bedroom, incredibly easy parking, washer/dryer in unit, free printing, and 24/7 fitness room. We don't have pets, but the place seems pet friendly as there is a small play area for animals and many neighbors have dogs. Broadway Heights stands alone at the end of the road making it feel peacefully out of the way, but everything you need (grocery, gas, restaurants, shopping) is just a few minutes away. Management is easy to contact and very responsive. A few of my not so favorites: the design of the apartment makes the living room area very small, our bathroom is located inside our bedroom (great for us, but not so great when having company), the fitness room could use some additions, and there isn't any wifi in the community space. Overall, a great place to live - I would truly rate it a 4.5/5 stars if I could!! (:

We don't have pets, but it certainly seems pet friendly as there is a small play area for animals and many of our neighbors have dogs. We have enjoyed the modern look and feel of the place, and parking is incredibly easy. It is out of the way and sometimes feels that you live in your own separate town, but is very accessible to grocery stores and restaurants which are just minutes away. As a student, having free printing has been a useful amenity. We haven't used the theater room yet, but plan to in the future. The only complaints we have are that the fitness room is very small and could use some upgrades/new equipment. It is also unfortunate that there is no wifi available in the community space.

I love my apartment! I moved in this year but I love living here! Everything is so close and nice. The apartment is nice on the inside definitely a modern look! An open concept works so good when I have family over!

My fiancé and I have lived at Broadway Heights for over a year now and we couldn’t be more happy. The space we live in is new, beautiful, and affordable. They take pride in their property and mantience responds promptly when there is an issue—at previous apartments I lived in it could take weeks to get the help I needed. The property management is also always available through email, and responds to any question or concern we may have. So happy we’re continuing to live here for another year (at least!)

Great location and close to everything. Only complaint I really have is when moving in my apartment wasn’t ready. Wasn’t cleaned up fully, things were broken and needed fixed.

I have been living here for a year and since the day I came to live here never had any problems and little issues when I would call they right away send maintenance service. so to me I love it!! that’s why I renewed and will continue to renew I would recommend it here to anyone , great for family ....

Broadway Heights apartments are great. We have a 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms and idly is very spacious. It has a washer and dryer in the unit which is extremely nice. We also love the nice size deck. The staff is awesome to work with and Rachel is always very helpful, polite and kind. You are also close to so many stores. It is a great location.

I have lived here for 6 months now, and I love everything about it! The management is extremely friendly and helpful. The maintenance takes care of repairs in a very timely manner. The location of the complex is hard to beat, as it is right off of I-80 in between Des Moines and Altoona. The other tenants here are friendly and normally keep to themselves most of the time. I would recommend living here to anybody! The rent is a fair price for the up-to-date apartment that you get! I definitely plan to renew my lease this upcoming May!

Love our Apt. Convienent to interstate , some neighbors not so great ..but most issues solved in a timely manner, dont like the fact you cant own a grill but the rest of the place Amazing.

Overall really nice apartments, have lived here for going on 4 years now and no complaints. It’s nice and quite and very close to altoona shopping outlet and other stores/places to eat. Management is great and take care of all the needs/ upkeep of the apartments really well. You won’t find a nicer apartment complex.

I’ve been living here for 2 years and I really enjoy my cozy apartment . Feels like home plus the gym and computer room we have makes things supper easy for me as a mom. Management is great, any email I send they respond within minutes

Broadway Heights is an excellent choice to select its close to numerous of stores and not to far from downtown des moines iowa. It has washer and dry in unit, dishwasher and two bathrooms. The bedrooms are awesome size and it also have a patio you can relax on and which the sunset.... Or sunrise.... It has a club house with weightroom Movie room and party room....

Broadway Heights is owned and managed by a great manager. She is very personable, great customer service skills and is easily available via phone or email in regards to concerns, issues ect. Management is very supportive in being flexible with rent in an emergency cases for example when I threw out my back and needed medical attention. I also like how they address any issues with other tenants as needed and how the access ways are key less and always locked to outside people that do not have access for safety purposes. It is pet friendly and even has a dog park which is convenient. The location is set back in a business development away from the main street of Altoona, IA and is quiet. Broadway offers income based, as well and market value apartments and offers services onsite that tenants can become involved with such as a movie night, garden club, kids activities ect. I have not had an apartment that I truly enjoyed until coming to live here. I just released for another year :) Definitely check out the great location as it is near all major highways and bypasses.

I live in a two bedroom two bath unit. These apartments are only about a year and a half old so I love all of the new appliances. Love that we have a washer and dryer in our unit. One downfall of the apartments is that there isn't much closet space. The kitchens and bathrooms are very spacious however. The staff here is very friendly and very personable. The community here is awesome. The office hosts nights for children like movie night in the theater room. 24 hour workout room is awesome. It includes the basic stuff a gym would have. We have a dog park and a lot of residents have dogs. There is a small trail that is behind the apartments that make it so children can walk to school.

The management company is great. The apartments are nice and new the quality of work isnt great. You have to look but you see imperfections everywhere. The neighbors stay to themselves. Overall a nice place to live. No real complaints.
