Canvas Valley Forge 55+

If I could give this management company a zero I would. My mother lives in this supposed “luxury community” and I am appalled at what’s happening there. There are dogs defecating IN THE HALLWAYS and their owners are NOT PICKING IT UP. The management company is not taking action. Not only is this vile, but it’s a health hazard. I’m so disgusted and feel so sorry for my mother and her friends, all 55+ who pay thousands and thousands to live here. I am hoping this review is an impetus for some action.

Everything has been good!I am currently ok living here, it not my forever home. There has been changes that are hit and miss. Rent is off the wall and very disappointing how they can raise it at a certain percentage each year.....just horrible!! The current staff have been amazing, a shout out to Rebecca, she goes above and beyond.

I love living in a 55 plus apartment complex. The building is about five years old. It's modern. The location is convenient to most places that you need to go.

This place is my home, my sweet home Management’s, residence very friendly and helpful, kipp place clean and enjoyable I can’t choose a better place for me to call “My Home “ Five stars ?????

We love living in a 55 and up community. The people who manage this place do a great job. They are so helpful. The building is about five years old so it's pretty modern.

I love living here. It’s o perfect. However I am concerned with the change that is taking place March 1. My hope is that the new firm realized that activities are what makes this a chosen place to live.

For the last 2 years and 3 months, Canvas has been my home. The staff and other residents make it this way. Their kindmess, friendliness and sense of care about this home surpasses any other place that I've lived. I enjoy our get-togethers, holda celebrations and just anytime gatherings. There's a sense of pride libing in such a community.

We have lived here for 1 month. Our apartment is great and so is everything else. The pool, hot tub, social events, card games, crafts, educational seminars and entertainment and residents are all wonderful!! Brian helped us find the perfect apartment, Rebecca helped us with our move in, Mike and John have taken care of any maintenance issues and Diana has helped to provide wonderful events for us to enjoy. They have all gone above and beyond and we appreciate it very much. We moved here from Virginia Beach to be near our grandchildren and love it. The Town Center is great with all the restaurants, shops and even Wegman’s within walking distance. We are very, very happy here!!

Always a great time at Canvas. Great people, especially the staff, great times and activities... It's a beautiful place to live! There's a sense of peace that surpasses the ordinary living experience!

I just moved into Canvas and I love it! Brian was incredibly patient and helpful during my apartment hunting and made my move-in completely painless. Brian, Rebecca, and the entire Canvas staff have been very friendly and have gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and to make me feel instantly at home. My new apartment is gorgeous and peaceful while also being an easy walk to several excellent stores and restaurants. The amenities areas and courtyards are beautiful and clean, and my new neighbors have all been very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend Canvas!

This is a beautiful property with amazing amenities. Our activities director fills each day with fitness classes, weekly art classes and resident run poker, canasta, Maj, bridge and more. It is an upbeat community of active seniors.

The Canvas community is beautiful, well kept, and peaceful, a great place to call "home". Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Numerous amenities included. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. The staff greet you with a smile. Rebecca, our concierge is extremely helpful and quick attend to questions!

I discovered this place in late September of 2019. This place has been quite helpful in meeting the needs of this writer. The hallways are clean, and one can get good walks in during bad winter without going out of doors. There are plenty of shops and restaurants just outside of the building in the Town Center. The access could be better by both road and SEPTA, though those issues would have to be solved by PennDOT, Upper Merion Township, and SEPTA.. Overall, I would give this a 4.75. By itself, it could be a 5, but you do have to get here first to enjoy the amenities.

We loved our house and yard , but for us it was starting to feel like a burden. So we thought about downsizing. We didn't need a place that would provide us with meals (the man is a great cook!) or with housekeeping. We felt we were too "young" for the classic retirement village. And we wanted a place as beautiful and convenient as the house we would leave behind. Could that perfect place exist? we wondered. Then a serendipitous phone-call led us to Canvas. Voila! This new 55+ concept in living was verything we hoped for and a whole lot more. Canvas is situated in the new King of Prussia Town Center, where we can shop at Wegmans, go to the bank, restaurants and stores without having to drive anywhere. We can grab a drink at Starbucks and watch the world go by from a chair in the Town Center's park-like setting we call "downtown". And we could go on and on about the upscale apartments with finer touches rarely found in rental situations. Every unit at Canvas is gorgeous with beautiful, large bathrooms, ample closets, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Every unit here has a deck. Canvas has two inviting courtyards, one with a pool. When socially permitted there are outstanding communal spaces to enjoy with friends and family. Of course, there is a well-equiped gym . Owning property means constant upkeep and expense. Renting eliminates a lot of these headaches. The excellent maintenance crew makes sure repairs are done promplty, courteously and correctly. If you get the idea that Canvas is perfectly designed for the post middle-ager who is active, social and independent, you would be correct. If you are curious about living an easier lifestyle than your present one, you need to book a visit to Canvas. I guarantee it will be time worth taking.

Canvas is a great place to live at.I enjoy it specially because it’s very convenient to work, And a lot of restaurants. The facilities are very clean all the time, and the people that work here are always very nice and helpful and polite. Campus is a nice change from our four-bedroom house. I would highly recommend it for people who would Like to downsize.Canvas review, from someone who lives here.

From the moment I stepped into the lobby of canvas the staff was gracious and helpful. Brian took me for a tour and showed me the amenities in the building and models of apartments. Have a lived in my previous home for 56 years, Brian was most helpful and helping me make a decision. Recently an old friend reached out to me and asked about canvas. She was told how much I loved it here and was interested. Yesterday, Brian gave her a tour, and now I am waiting to hear which apartment she has chosen. What’s not to like?
