The property is awesome! Spacious enough for me and my needs. Office staff is great. Cassandra has been extremely helpful. Always responsive to my questions or concerns. Responds well in email and through phone calls. Would definitely recommend living here.

Recently moved here and this place is great! The apartment is excellent and spacious and has a good sized fenced area for dogs to play in, as well as a great staff.

Fantastic maintenance and staff, especially Maria! I lived here for 2years graduated college and moved out of town... only to get a job 5 days later. Called Maria and she had a lease for to sign within a day or 2 and got me into an apartment in less than a week. Cannot thank them enough!

The apartment complex seems to be very quiet, which is important to me! It is well kept and the office tries to maintain and enforce the rules in a timely and professional manner. Whenever I have needed something, their response has been quick. I have not had a problem with insects or anything of that nature. Parking has been great as well!

It was a great experience walking into the doors and met Mrs. Maria who has a beautiful personality a very sweet and kind person. She speaks Spanish and English and she was able to help me. She toured me a very detailed tour and it was a great experience. As I was coming from another state she helped and guided me with everything that was needed. She also helped me connect my electricity. She made my life so easy and I am in love with my town home with a great pool view. Candlewood is a great place to call home!

I've been here almost a year and since august 1 we moved in we have had roach problems and refused refused to spray but charge us. Also the carpet has been messed up for 3 months and Michelle said she would talk to the vendors and nothing. Dont move here

Candice at the front desk was very accessible and was able to help me move in within 4 days! The place is only 2 stories and a little smaller, so it doesn’t have a ton of people walking around. It’s nice and quiet. My unit had new carpeting in it and was clean. Candice made sure she fixed my cabinet sink ASAP when it was not up to standards and has continued to be accessible. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin and I can hear my neighbors being loud upstairs, other than that it’s perfect.

I've been looking for an apartment that could be a comfortable home. My last apartment was horrible... The staff were always rude and whenever I had a maintenance issue it took months before anything would be done. Old carpet... Countertops were welting... I'm just so so happy to be here at Candlewood Apartments!! Nice clean and safe environment.. And the staff have always been so kind!!!! A special thank you too Candice! I enjoyed living at this apartment complex with my family. The atmosphere was quiet and the managers and leasing agents were very friendly. Maria the Assistant Manager is always very friendly and helpful I always when she is the one who answers the phone, she answers all my questions and follows up that any maitance issues are resolved. All the staff is helpful and friendly. The grounds are kept up nice.

I’m apartment hunting and I thought this would be a great place to live but every time I call no one ever seems to answer the phones or reply to my emails and every time I go to to complex no one is ever in the office? I’m very confused and disappointed.

This apartment complex has absolutely THE BEST customer service! I have been with this complex for 3 three years and I have never had an issue with the staff or maintenance! Their rates are also very reasonable! Maria is absolutely the BEST! Anytime I have a question or concern, she is always right there to fix it right then and there!! Absolutely love Candlewood!

living at Candlewood I would do it again great management team always ready to help you or answer any question you have some time I would leave a phone message but they always call you back. I lived at Candlewood for over three years the first two years in a one bad room then I moved to one of the two bedrooms much larger and has lots of space. the pool area are clean and the water is clear. First of all, I would like to thank Maria in the leasing office. She has provided detailed information which has made my daughters apartment search so much easier. Anytime my daughter or I have questions; Maria is very quick on answering them. She is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the property. Maria, is fantastic; she has made the process of leasing an apartment as painless and non-stressful as possible. The staff at Candlewood Apartments are very helpful! They totally went above and beyond to help me relocate due to the hurricane. I had one issue with my apartment and it was taken care of immediately. The property is convenient and maintained very well! I love and my dog loves the dog park, very nice and well kept. I totally appreciate all the help and giving us a roof over our heads. I totally recommend this property. Thanks a bunch!

I was relocated by FEMA to search for a new place to live. I was so overwhelmed and had no clue on where to start. I shopped around and found Candlewood Apartments. From start to finish it has been smooth and everything explained to me, step by step. The girls in the office have been very patient with me and explained everything in detail. I had called many places and not one property had the customer service as well as Candlewood. If your looking for a apartment and are full of questions, these girls explain well and work with you. They don’t push you to sign anything and make you feel comfortable. My apartment is great and I have no issues, what so ever. Maintenance is quick to close work orders and very friendly. Stop by, get your tour.

I have no complaints what so ever living here at Canewood Apartments. What prompt me to moving in was the environment and staff.. Nice friendly, very respectful and they communicate fast. Great location 4 min. From the mall. Work orders are done in a timely manner, grounds are kept up daily. Staff communicates through out the whole process and is step by step. When I was looking to lease, i was able to do everything on line. I'm glad that I moved here and so far no complaints...

I have lived in other apartments before -- several in Corpus Christi as well as two others in Austin and Houston each -- but Candlewood was a nice surprise. The one-bedroom townhouse where I currently live is well-insulated from the cold, even on that rare snowy night, like the one we just experienced. But for my money, the management and personnel are among the best ever. They are thorough professionals, but they also care. One Sunday during an August heat spell when my A/C failed, the staff treated it like an emergency. It was same-day service all the way -- even though the office was closed Sundays. And they don't mind that I sometimes invite my daughter and grandchildren to come over and swim in one of the pools they provide for the community. I have seen and heard what other apartment complexes offer, but I'm staying put here. It's spacious, quiet, and well looked after. I recommend that if you're shopping for another place to live, you should pay a visit and see for yourself.

I have lived in Candlewood only 2 months but talk about the best experience I have ever had living in an apartment complex! Initially, I did the whole application process online & through emails! The process was smooth and efficient! They even changed the downstairs "brand new carpet" to linoleum, per my request; to compensate for my dog...I did not want the ick being tracked in/out on the carpet that happens with pets and our feet, as well. Since my move in, I have had a few maintenance requests: ALL were taken care of the same day! Upon moving in, my plan was for this move to be our long term home! The way Candlewood staff takes care of the grounds and the community in a whole; I believe they were an awesome choice! THANK YOU guys and gals~

Poor materials. Loud noises. Maria. Sketchy people using the pool late at night. Management goes online to leave fake reviews. Rude staff. Bug problems. Leaky AC’s. Vehicle burglary. The office does not care about your complaint. Their only concern is making future customers think they do. As soon as you sign a lease with this complex, they forget you, and they move on to people who haven’t yet made a committed financial obligation to them. If you live here, you will be duped, and you have been forewarned.

I enjoy my living here at candlewood apartments. It's central to all areas and to popular locations. All the people her are courteous and quick to answer maintenance issues. From the roaches to noise levels to the irresponsible and aloof, "can't be bothered" staff, this place has been awful. I can't express how relieved I am not to live there anymore. Whenever you bring an issue to the attention of the management, they (the secretaries in the front office, mostly) treat you like a fool. As soon as you sign the lease their behaviour changes drastically, and all I can say is "live somewhere else". Anywhere else. Christiwood next door isn't great, but it's nothing near as bad as Candlewood. Things break frequently, the buildings are made out of cheap materials, and the walls are paper thin. Someone is going to write on this comment "We're sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for the feedback, we're always striving to improve, etc". This is a generic PR response and any potential renter should be aware that in no way does the staff at Candlewood Apartments strive to improve anything for anyone that has already signed a lease. They simply do not care. They are not "under new management" like they told me when I moved in and the poor reviews online are accurately representative of their performance. Having said that, the woman who manages the property seems to be intelligent and effective, but is rendered helpless by assistants, who are rude, unprofessional, and professionally incompetent. If she were able to surround herself with people able to do even a reasonable job, the place would benefit greatly.

Was bitten by mites in carpeting which smells like dog urine, AC thermostat went out twice, bug issues, and huge ant hills were allowed to exist on my patio and near second floor stairs. Cannot recommend.

I've lived here for 7yrs. and I've enjoyed it the whole time! When I first moved here the apartment I'm in had just gotten some repairs and was clean! I've seen some things go over the time, just like any apartment complex, but the repairs are seen to pretty quick and the maintenance staff are friendly and clean up after they're done..been in a few places where you're supposed to they just do the repairs! The management staff are friendly, knowledgeable and listen...another rare treat! The pools, which were recently resurfaced are kept clean, the grounds are picked up, and the new gym area is nice!! All in all this is the nicest place I've lived in since moving to Texas 14yrs ago!

The apartment is clean and basically roach free. The complex maintains the appearance of the grounds and just recently renovated the outside of the complex. It is wonderfully quiet and no problems from those who do not live here. The renovation consisted of new roofs on all buildings and new siding on all buildings. The grounds were recently renovated with new plants and drainage for rain off the roof. I live in a downstairs apartment and I enjoy a fairly quiet space with little noise from the one above me. The management is quick to take care of any problems in the apartments and do not allow any kind of storage on the patios that would mar the appearance of the complex. Also, the storage is adequate for one person in a 1 bedroom. I transferred to a 1 bedroom after living in a 2 bedroom that was very spacious and enjoyed a storage unit with washer/dryer connections if you owned them. I am very satisfied with my apartment. Very satisfied with management and with the way they handle any problems concerning the units.

My apartments at first was horrible the Ac barely worked but everytime I called about it the workers came out immediately to fix the problem .now the Ac works awesome and just in time for the summer:) in happy
