Property Ratings at Canal 1535
The management and staff at Canal 1535 are very warm and attentive. They all go the extra mile to help residents, especially Jessica, the security guard. The building is generally clean aside from the occasional trash/neglect in the elevator. All other amenities are very clean. I recently did a review of my apartment and mentioned an issue with a drawer and the maintenance man showed up an hour later, without me having to submit a request. Its great to see that if I ever have any issues with my apartment, they staff is receptive and responsive. The building is also safe, with many checkpoints needing a fob. I live on the I10 and hospital side of the building, so it is quite loud at night. Aside from that, I would recommend Canal 1535.
I recently moved into 1535 Canal in New Orleans, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! The move-in process was smooth and efficient, making it easy to settle into my new home. The apartment itself is comfortable and well-designed, providing the perfect environment for both studying and relaxation. The amenities are fantastic, with everything I need just steps away, which is essential as I embark on my journey at Tulane University School of Medicine. Living in this vibrant community adds to the excitement of my medical school experience. I look forward to spending the next four years here, surrounded by such a welcoming atmosphere and supportive neighbors. Overall, 1535 Canal is not just a place to live; it's a wonderful community to call home during my medical school journey.

Overall it is a great apartment and a great maintenance team. Facilities are amazing but it is a bit frustrating for dog smell in elevator.

Overly Priced apartments and insect infested. Floorboards uneven from base boards. They don’t fix holes or scratches in the walls they just paint over it. Packages always getting stolen they put all the packages in one room kept unlocked. Elevator always smell like weed.
