If I ever need help with something the office responds right away. It is a little warm at times but have gotten use to it and the boilers were turned down
I love living here, the apartments are amazing for young adults learning to navigate adulthood. Lizzie is amazing in the office and is always so nice and helpful.
Staff are always friendly and maintenance requests are taken care of within 24 hrs! I think this is a great place to live! I am hoping that the parking lot lines are repainted soon though as parking is a nightmare at times.
En lineas generales... el complejo es tranquilo... solo que me entregaron la unidad muy sucia... el.baño la.cocina y las alfombras un asco!!! Y la.cocina no.le.funcionan dos hornillas
it’s a very peaceful complex and the neighbors are never loud and i love that i can call the staff at any time and they will do anything they can to help me
It’s a really nice place to live in. The apartments themselves are really nice. And the clubhouse has everything I need! I’ve met lots of nice people.
Pretty good other than original planned apartment being really dirty but they moved us up to a better apartment to make up for it. People can be a little loud occasionally. Close to campus so that’s nice.
Building is clean and quiet. Maintenance is super quick to respond to any issues and are kind and courteous. Rent is cheap and easy to pay online with no added fees
Maintenance is always quick to respond, and everyone in the office is a joy to chat with! The amenities are nice and the proximity to school is nice, I enjoy taking walks around campus
Awesome! I really like living close to all of my teammates! It makes it easy for us to get together or if I ever need anything everyone is right there. I’ve really liked being in an upstairs unit this year too.
Overall my experience has been a mix a great and not so great. The apartment itself is better than I expected. For the most part it was clean and fully move in ready. There was a leak in our sink but maintenance and some water damage under the sink in the cubbard, but maintenance came and fixed the leak as well as replacing our facet to a much nicer one! Over all the apartment and the building itself is great and everyone living there seems nice. The biggest issue I have is the office staff being a bit rude and not very understanding, aswell as a little unorganized and unprepared. They ran out of parking passes so I have been worried about my car being towed. Just over all the staff doesnt talk very nicely and sounds like they think we are dumb for not knowing something and like they hate their job. The apartment and building itself is great and I am happy with it. But the office staff could use some improving!
Great place quite spacious. Really close to the college. Cheap rent all utilities included. Honestly just moved in a couple days ago and I have had no issues. Bedroom door locks and comes with a key which is very important.
I love it, very nice community. I have had no issues so far and everyone is very nice. When I had a complaint about things not working here a maintenance person showed up right away to fix it. Great place.
We had a great move in day however our air wasn’t working and it was HOT had to go but 3 fans and took 3 days to fix. Meet dime neighbors and they are nice and can see us hanging out as friends
It’s been great! So many amazing welcoming people, everyone has shown so much respect and interest to our lives and wellbeing! I wouldn’t imagine a better place to live!
Been pretty good so far wifi was a bit of a pain for me and few bugs but could be a seasonal thing. Allowed to have my cat which is a huge plus for me
very clean apartments with amazing lawn keeping and very welcoming and respectful residents, I always see people walking about and enjoying the public spaces, everyone in the office is always so helpful
The people around here seem nice, and there is easy access to a lot of things. However my apartment, when I first got here, was disgusting. I had to deep clean everything.
I've had a very positive experience with the workers here and love how inviting they are. They helped me to get a new door key when mine didn't work. I appreciate their willingness to help and their friendly attitudes.
It's been so great and welcoming!! It's been a great step for my adult life not going into dorms but still getting a chance to have structured help with my living if I need it.
So far so good, love my roommate, my apartment is nice for the price big kitchen and my bed room is the perfect size only complaint I have is about the laundry situation
It’s very nice and it’s a good room for going to college the AC works well and you can change the temp it’s nice. The kitchen is hardwood making it easy to clean and the rooms are carpet which is nice you have plenty of room to store think with there being 4 closets total.
The check-in experience is very good. All the issues raised have been positively resolved, and the staff's attitude is very good.The environment is also good, and the surroundings are convenient.
For some reason my apartment wasn’t cleaned when I got here and there atleast some pre existing damages but I’m happy with it I’ve worked on cleaning it and hopefully fixing the damages for free
It’s better than i could’ve imagined everyone is so nice and had a nice welcome and loved getting to know the people around me. The environment was so nice If I had to say I would totally bring more people to kirkwood so they can experience this wonderful places here
As a new resident, I feel the staff here is not all that friendly. They weren't that kind when helping me get ready to move in and I feel that they lie a lot to their residents. A problem I have had was on my tour to view some of the models. My mom and I we chose one of their premium apartments. A little extra money to spend but it was more spacious and I had the option of choosing if I wanted upstairs or down stairs. We had chosen down stairs, mainly because of some medical injuries and also some of the stuff I was being sent with is heavy. I got an email from the office saying I had gotten a roommate, and inside that email they said they I was being moved to an upper floor. They day before moving in, my mom and I came in and asked why. They said they ask their residents before moving them, I was never asked. We even saw the inside of my apartment, the people in the office had left it a mess. Things were broke and completely left a mess as if they never cleaned it.
So far, it's been nice. The apartments are great for being on your own for the first time! The complex is also nice and easy to get around. Love living here!
It was good over all but i wished i had a tour of what my apartment was going to look like instead of other apartments cause she said was supposed to have two closet but only have one
It was alright, parking was annoying at times though. The rent was cheap and not having to pay for utilities was great as well. Over all is was a 4 out of 5 experience.
Cheap living, good location right off 380 & 30. Building could use renovations but overall not too bad. All utilities included is really nice. Wish it was in unity washer and dryer. Don’t forget to lock your cars!
Great staff and accommodations! If there’s any issues they’re resolved pretty quickly and everyone is incredibly helpful. I love taking walks around the grassy lawns

Great complex friendly workers, would recommend living there!! Had nice events, especially early on in the year such as taco trucks, and soda bars.

It’s a nice place to stay while going to kirkwood community college. It’s affordable, decently up kept and has a nice layout. They keys are a little annoying but I understand why they are how they are.
I really like the apartment, everything is within walking distance which I enjoy. I also like that there is a free tanning bed and a free printer where I can print school assignments & staff is very nice and helpful
It’s been okay for the price. There have been several security concerns that could’ve been helped a lot by the property having some security cameras around. Our apartment also doesn’t have a dishwasher despite all of our neighbors having them, so it feels a bit unfair we’re being charged the same as everyone else without having the same amenities.
the office is super friendly and easy to work with. They made my transition into this apartment from the last very smooth and quick. Definitely recommend!
Cheap apartments, utilities included in mi they prices which is nice. Laundry facility inside the clubhouse. Snow removal is slow, usually isn’t cleared until later the day of a blizzard or the next day even. Didn’t have salt available in each building entry this year. My building smells “unique” every day, alternating between international cooking, animals or something something green. Maintenance is decently quick to respond. Watch out for pot holes. I’d feel better walking to/from my car at night if there were more lights around the large grass area parking lot. overall tho, it’s convenient location to hwy 30 & 380 and for the price it’s easy to save up.
Last semester was amazing and this semester is also quite fun at the Kirkwood courts. But the snow and artic blast weather of Cedar rapids makes it intense even inside any apartents.
Great space in our apartment for cooking and hosting small groups of friends. The amenities are easy to access. Maintenance responds quickly and gets the job done
Love it here, staff are always super helpful and friendly, I also love that they are enforcing parking limitations for non-residents. I would recommend repainting the parking likes though over by building 130 as people are not parking very well or are taking up multiple parking spots.
Living here has been great! I'm not worried about any utility bills because everything is prepaid. It's close enough to campus where I don't need to drive!

The staff is nice and tells us everything we need to know. The people can be noisy at times but more or less good. After getting the parking permits I can finally find a place to park that's not to far.
Staff are very nice. When new leasing begins and it’s move in time they throw a lot of get togethers so everyone has a chance to see who’s all in the community. The apartments are very affordable!
Honestly I can't wait to start moving in and getting to know my neighbors. I hope everyone is really easy to get along with and loves animals.
Service was nice and the receptionist walked me though the process explaining and showing me what and how to do what was needed to access my account.
Fast and efficient staff, spacious living room. Maintenance is very thorough and done in timely manner. Parking can be limited and the parking lines are somewhat hard to see but overall good experiences
