Property Ratings at Campus Crossings on Alafaya
This is place is the absolute worst. Bugs all over apartments, walls are thin, maintenance does not fix anything.
My daughter was supposed to start renting there in August of 2023. In May she found out that she would not be able to rent with her current roommates for whatever reason. She decided not to move in. I got several calls but spoke to someone only once who told me I need to sign off on the reletting form. They did not mention that there would be a fee of 700 plus dollars. Unfortunately neither of us saw the fee on the form that we completed on our phones. They plan to send this to collections if not paid within a month. They have already relet the apartment and so have lost nothing. It is the shadiest thing I've ever encountered in my life. Protect your children by not letting them rent from this company.
I moved in two years ago and the apartment was dirty. I was told i would have bran new appliances, not the case. The kitchen was dirty, oven not calibrated. It takes weeks for a problem to get fixed. Its cheap but you dont get what is promised on your lease. You have pest issues. They will show you a model apartment that looks nothing like your actual apartment that you will move into . Dont move into these apartments.

currently I live in Tampa and it's too much of a hassle to go back and forth between Orlando and Tampa while working full time. for the last week I have been blowing up the phone lines trying to get one single person to answer so I can finish signing my lease. when I did finally speak to someone the information I was sent was not correct, in an attempt to fix it quickly i called right back to no answer!....still waiting on a phone call back. they seemed nice in person but calling there is ridiculous.
I've been living here going on two years now, it's very quite throughout the week but once it's the weekend, things can get a little crazy. It's a better fit for students more than families. The leasing office does cool activities with the residents throughout the week. For instance, Waffle Wednesdays, Pool parties, movie nights, & occasionally barbecues. The living room & the actual rooms are a decent size. The apartment itself isn't fancy but you can add your own touches to make it beautiful.
A college oasis. Full of life and young professionals. The pool keeps us occupied during the summer and the bball courts is where bonds are made! The days are quiet and the nights are filled with chatter. #Dreamers and people who have great aspirations dwell in these parts. From tech junkies to musicians the world is at our fingertips.
The apartment is not bad, close to nearby restaurants and shopping. The rooms could be bigger but overall not bad for the price.
I have stayed here for 3 years and I have for the most part enjoyed my stay. The worst part of my stay has been 2 bad roommates but that comes with college apartment territory. I suggest when you sign your lease you are very specific with what you want and if possible with whom you want to stay. Maintenance responds within hours for an emergency (washer leaking) and within a day for non-emergencies (ice machine broken. Most of the staff is helpful while all are friendly, and for only 500/mo this place is a steal.
These Apartments have much potential the America needs a little bit of revamping but the surrounding area is perfect. Great pricing as well.
