California Apartments is a lovingly-maintained, 100-year-old building with many long-term residents. The apartments in have hardwood floors, tall ceilings, gas stoves and great bathtubs. There is room in the kitchen for a table. There is shared on-site laundry and a garden patio. This is a 1-year lease, and no pets are allowed. Off-street parking is available for an extra $100 - $125/month. There is a shared laundry room with new machines. The location is fantastic - easy walking and biking distance to BART, theaters, shops, and restaurants. The on-site manager has lived in the building for over 20 years. She is friendly and responsive. To move in, you will pay the 1st month of rent and a deposit equal to 1 month of rent. For utilities, the tenants pay for gas and electricity, and the owner pays for water, hot water, and garbage. The tenant also pays for their own internet - each apartment has been wired for high-speed fiber if you want it. The unit is available now. Are you our new neighbor?
