Easy to work with, very nice, very accommodating, military friendly 5 stars

We have been tenants here going on 6 years. One of the best benefits, besides all the wonderful amenities, is the maintenance team. Whenever there’s an issue they are here within a reasonable amount of time. Today we had a problem with the slider door lock and they showed up within an hour and were able to fix it right away.

Property is nice. Staff is very reponsive to all questions and maintenance has been excellent.

Moved out end of April. Had to get court judgement in order for them to be ordered to return my security deposit which was wrongfully withheld. It is now the end of September and am still waiting for my security deposit.

My husband and I lived here before and I didn't want to leave and i kept thinking about coming back and to my surprise my Husband and I will be returning and I cant tell you how excited i was when my husband told me they had and opening. i don't have anything bad to say about California apts it was and is the best place to live if you can get in. Amy, Cathy and Cheryl are the best they make the experience so amazing and they become like family they really do love their tenants and they will work with you if there is ever a problem.

Super friendly staffs. Place is nice, clean and quiet.

I went over thinking I was going to grab my keys and that’s it but rather I was greeted with the warmest welcome from Amy herself! Made me feel like I’m really home. I received a tote bag with all the information I need.

From initial contact to picking up my keys to move in, I have had a pleasant experience with the staff at California Apartments. I have felt nothing but welcomed by them. They even had toiletries, mugs, a couple bottles of water, popcorn bags, cleaning supplies/dish towel, and ice trays in the apartment. I've never experienced that kind of thoughtfulness and hospitality from any other places I've rented. The maintenance crew is responsive and helpful; I never felt like I was bothering them. They also complete work orders quickly and provide education on replacements if necessary. It's a friendly, quiet, and convenient place to live. I just moved in at the end of April/beginning of March and I am looking forward to staying here.

Just moved in and the area is great and the property manager and leasing reps are wonderful.

I lived on the third floor but then because of a medical conditions I was hospitalized and not able to return to my former apartment because I could not use the stairs Cheryl and Amy were so kind they rented me a first floor apartment temporarily when I got home from the hospital until a permanent first floor apartment was available the apartment that was made available for me had been remodeled it’s absolutely beautiful and I can’t tell you how kind they’ve been to me all I have to do is call the office and whatever my issues are they always assist me I live alone but I don’t feel alone with these ladies here …..thank you so much Cheryl and Amy

I can’t say enough about the ladies that facilitated my apartment. It was difficult getting an apartment in the area this time of year and only a couple of months after Covid restrictions were lifted. They have been very professional, helpful and caring. I’m very new to the area and so far I really like the property and area. I can’t wait to use the pool. I haven’t even been here a week but so far; so very good.

The staff are amazing here. We've been here for about a year and love it. The grounds are beautiful with pine trees, seasonal flowers, and luscious grass. + there's TONS of amenities (hall to rent, tennis court, dog park, swimming pool, jacuzzi, car wash... I mean I've never even heard of an apartment complex that had its own car wash area until now!). But what really makes California stand out are the employees. Amy is wonderful. The maintenance team is very friendly and super responsive. Really can't say enough good things about the entire staff. We are so thankful to be living here.

I’ve only been here a few days, but so far I love it! Much more spacious than it seems online. It was super clean when I moved in. Move in was so easy and the office staff are so nice!

I moved in on July 1, 2015, so I’m coming up on my 6th year and I’m perfectly content. My apartment is spacious and cozy too. There’s abundant wildlife just outside the patio and birdwatching is my new hobby. The pool and spa are a wonderful way to relax. The tennis courts are new and only a few steps away. The management team is fantastic and I have not had a single concern. On the few occasions that I’ve needed a repair, the response was immediate...no kidding, situation resolved in 30 minutes or less! Who could ask for more than that?

Moved out a while ago, but my buddy still lives there. Im happy i got out while i could Worst apartment of my life

Recently moved out and this complex was meh. Super hyped up and expected a whole lot more than what i was actually paying for and what i was told. Look elsewhere, you could find another complex for less price and the same amount of effort they put in. They make you feel important until you sign the lease, then all they care about is if you pay rent.

Won’t let you down. Lovely environment,great staff, right choice.

Beautiful apartments and grounds. Superb management and staff. Great location. Great pool. Clean. Quiet. Military friendly. Couldn't ask for a better place to live. We are so happy here.

My significant other and I moved in 3 months ago and are happy with our decision to move here sight unseen from Georgia. We are very comfortable in our new home, the apartment has all the amenities we need. The complex is approximately 30 years old and it shows in some areas. However they are constantly updating, we’ve gotten new carpet and a new front door since we moved in. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is amazingly quick in response to requests for help. They have a couple of community events throughout the year which gives us a chance to meet our neighbors. There’s also security on site during the night hours which helps me feel safe being on the first floor. I love being able to sit on my patio and enjoy the view with all the trees with the squirrels and birds. I highly recommend living here.

It's a great place to live, staff is courteous and promt, grounds are kept clean, they also have special events so we can meet our neighbors at no cost to the residents. California Apartments is located near public transportation. Has a car wash and vacuum center also tennis and volleyball court. A great place to live. I've lived here for close to 30 years ???? The only drawback is the Rent going up every year

Hi my name is Angela Jefferson & I've been a resident for about 19yrs. I have a 2 bedroom & 1&1/2 bath. It has so much room for me not compact at all. It's not my house it's my home & it feels great every time I walk thru my door. I feel safe & reassured. The cleanist property, no loud noise definitely feel safe when I come home late at night because of great security. If I need maintenance they are so on point that you're not waiting long at all 15 mins top they are knocking at my door. Very friendly & take no time taking care of your maintenance problem. Office manager & her staff so friendly they treat u like family that u Don't find very often. Different activities for the residents which is great fun! The community room is awesome to entertain parties & out of town family. Very warm atmosphere & cozy. I love my home & I would recommend anyone to come & reside here. If I wasn't satisfied I wouldn't be living here for 19 yrs & pray I will be here for another 19 yrs. AWESOMENESS!

I've been living in these apts about 8 yrs. I really like this place cause it's quiet very on point w/ maintenance & very clean grounds. I also feel safe if I walk to trash dumpster or leave out late at night cause there's security here.The office staff & maintenance make me feel like family very nice. Rent goes up every year I'm not complaining rent must be paid regardless. They don't hound u if you're late w/ your rent. They do work with u..the office has a great community room for parties etc.& they don't charge residents to use room just a deposit which is very nice it definitely has that homey flare. I feel this place is one of the best places to live in this area..that's why I give it 4 stars.
