Small building that packs a punch

My initial reason for choosing to live at Burano over multiple other buildings in downtown Long Beach was that this small building packed a big punch in areas like attracting less homeless and strangers off the the street because of its location, underground parking for my car and WiFi included in the amenities package. While the building has very few amenities, I felt that for me, what it offered far outweighed what it did not. There is a decent community of professionals who rent here and keep the place quiet and friendly. Additionally, the maintenance person, Gilbert, and the leasing office representative, Jessica are both phenomenal. Jessica recently moved here and has been a blessing to the building since Maybell left. She has a keen eye for detail and doesn’t wait to be told there is an issue with something in the building. In her short time here she has switched out ratty carpeting, paid close attention to the building’s cleanliness, worked on keeping tenants in the know about community and building events/construction/filming around us, etc. Recently, she planned a fantastic community event for everyone to mingle. It was clear she had made an effort to look into even the minutest details to make it an enjoyable event for all. I had an issue with parking recently and instead of dragging her feet on a solution, she found one that same day. Gilbert, the maintenance person is friendly, professional and great at fixing any issues that need to be attended to. The apartments are beautiful, peaceful and come with all the necessary modern day amenities. Additionally, covered and secure parking is included as are 2 entrances/exits, which have proved to be a blessing on multiple occasions when one of the roads (usually Ocean) is blocked with traffic. I whole-heartedly recommend living here.

442 is a very quiet, clean and great place to live. I value my downtime and this is a great place to relax and unwind after a long day at work. The location is perfect. You have dining, shopping and freeways right at your doorstep. The leasing agents and property managers are amazing as well. I physically cannot complain about anything. Mgmt staff is fake, unfriendly, and unresponsive. The upkeep of the material is atrocious. Pee stains from pets take weeks to clean, elevators do not no work. Parking gates break down regularly. Mgmt seems like it is an accomplished when they are able to do simple repairs. We are not allowed to use the amenities and our rent remains the same.

Living here is like having an extended family. Everyone is so friendly and since it is a small community you know most of your neighbors as well as those within the community. Joey, the manager is awesome and always makes me smile!

Amazing

By far one of the best apartment complexes I’ve ever lived in. All the gathering areas are always clean and neat, when you need something there is always someone to talk too! Joey and Randy are the best hands down! I love how there is a sense of community/ family here!

I have only been a resident at 442 for 2 weeks but I am already extremely pleased with this place. Joey and David in the office were very knowledgeable and extremely kind to me throughout the leasing experience. They both seemed to know every resident that passed by the office by name. Within a week of being here they held a resident event in which at least 30 residence attended. Everyone was so nice and for maybe the 2nd time in my rental history I feel like I would be friends with my neighbors. Everyone was really cool and easy to talk to. The sense of community is amazing here. As for the units themselves, I am very pleased with my apartment. The appliances seem expensive and the finishes are nice. I also rarely hear my neighbors which is amazing. The build outs in the closet are also a nice touch making them much larger than a typical wall to wall closet. The only downfall is the wall paint as it seems to scuff very easily. Overall I am very pleased with my decision to lease here.

Excellent quality design / build. Super friendly staff and responsive. Had some minor maintenance needs they took care of immediately. Super dog friendly. Great location is actually pretty quiet at night. Very Walkable area.
