Located about five miles north of downtown Spokane, Town and Country stays true to its name with a rustic, old-fashioned atmosphere. The neighborhood has a balanced mix of single-story houses and apartments scattered around spacious, tree-lined roads. Nowhere do you see this area's all-American style more than in Lost Boys' Garage, a diner housed in a former service station.
Town and Country has no shortage of unique local bars, from neighborhood mainstay the Swinging Doors to a down-to-earth sports bar called the Screaming Yak. If you want to do something different, try painting while sipping a glass of wine at Sip n' Paint Studio. The shopping scene in this area features a smattering of eclectic independent stores, including 16 Cents, 3 Shoes & 5 Socks, a furniture shop.
