Situated in southern Central Florida, Sebring is nicknamed “the City on the Circle” because the Sebring Downtown Historic District is centered on the circle-shaped Circle Drive, a plan derived from the design of the ancient Egyptian city Heliopolis. A bevy of specialty shops, art galleries, cafes, and restaurants populate historic buildings in Downtown Sebring.
Sebring contains numerous lakes, including Lake Jackson, Little Lake Jackson, and Dinner Lake. The lakes provide a multitude of outdoor recreational opportunities in addition to the nearby Highlands Hammock State Park. Sebring is also home to the Sebring International Raceway, hosting the famous 12 Hours of Sebring every year. Destinations like Tampa, Orlando, Fort Myers, and West Palm Beach are all within a two-hour drive of Sebring. Convenience to U.S. 27 makes getting around from Sebring simple.
