The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Buckingham Apartments
I rented a single bedroom apartment, was not giving a chance to see before move in day.. when I moved in I noticed the floor was sinking so I called, took pictures of everything. It was more then a month when they fixed it somewhat. Not long after I felt ( different spot) the floor was stinking, I called again but was told it would be awhile before they could get to it. Not long after that it spread and was very bad, which I called again. I was offered to move at that point. So I asked to be moved to a two bedroom which they agreed and I paid the difference, they asked me to sign a new contract, I did and paid the difference. Well after they ripped all the sidewalks out and made such a mess ( which I allowed patients) messed up door jams allowing mice to now run in and out along with other insects, my request to fix went unheard. When they did come in to fix, it wasn’t done right cause they fired the manager and the maintenance man one day out of the blue so they didn’t have anyone to fix it. Needless to say, when I moved out ( cleaned better then when I moved in) pictures to prove it, they have not returned my deposit. Called a month later, was told they would call back and has not as of yet. One more chance and I’ll be pressing charges! Problem is, they think people won’t go the extra mile, but I will travel back to KY to get my money back!
In the year and a half I have lived in this townhouse, management has changed hands 3 times. When we moved in, there were fleas. The manager denied it and refused to treat until we bothered her about it enough times and paid for some treatment of our own. The shower is rusty. The blinds are brittle and break if you touch them and then you get charged to replace them. The dishwasher has never worked. The downstairs toilet has overflowed six times due to poor plumbing. Concrete contractors damaged our back door so there was a large gap at the bottom of the door where bugs were coming in. We were told to block it with a towel and it would be replaced in 3 weeks. It finally got repaired after 5 months and multiple phone calls. Our allergies have been terrible since moving here. We suspected mold in the ducts, but the office said they don't do anything about that. We purchased our own mold test which showed there was indeed mold. When we sent the results to the new manager, he finally sent someone to clean our ducts, but never checked back if the mold was gone or checked the rest of the townhouse. Now under the newest manager I came home to two men putting new siding on the outside of the townhouse. I was not notified this would be happening. When I went into my upstairs bedroom, the walls were cracked in several places, a nail had pierced all the way through, and the bottom of the window frame had completely fallen off, revealing mold underneath and leaving debris all over my floor and belongings. I called the office immediately. 24 hours later they have yet to even look at it. There is a large gap under my bedroom window open to the outdoors. Yet they are trying to raise the rent on this place.
Don’t rent from them!!! They don’t give you notice when their maintenance people walk into your apartment whenever they please. They might knock once but then they walk straight in. Also they changed the lock to our place before we left so we couldn’t lock our door from the inside or outside. They did that without letting us know. They will also go in your place when your not home. They promise to help you out when you first get the place then completely throw that out when you acturally need help.
The location for etown is great, close to everything. Price is much lower than other places that are smaller. Apartments aren't new, by any means, but it was freshly painted and clean when I moved in. When I have had to call for maintenance, they have always come the same day and fixed the problem.
Do not rent from them! They scammed me out of money multiple times. Their maintenance left a hole and blood on the wall when I first rented from them. They left it there and dirt all over the carpet. They raised my rent almost 200$ in a year. When I talked to them on the phone about it they kept changing the rent number so I overpaid on my rent but sent a paper saying a lower amount so it seemed like I was lying. Their plumber did not fix my toilet it ran for about a month then when he did come fix it I asked him nicely to go through the front door and not my bedroom to fix our toilet and he refused and said no I’m going through here. If I did go to the landlord about these issues I felt nothing would of been done. I’ve never left a bad review for anyone but this place so that says a lot. We gave a month in advance that we were moving out and we somehow owe $500 and more in fees even after they used the deposit (which wasn’t all we gave them) and chose not to use the pet deposit. I had to give them a one star only to leave this review :(.
I absolutely love living in this area. The maintenance employees are always keeping this area clean. No one bothers anyone.
Not only did I give a one month notice I even told them personally that I was moving out that month ahead. They charged me over 1000$ just to move out. Never have I dealt with such unorganized and unfaithful people in my life.
