Stratford, a borough in Camden County, is approximately 15 miles southeast of Philadelphia and 35 miles north of Vineland, New Jersey. The Stratford School District serves students in K-eighth grade. Ninth graders and above attend the regional Sterling High School, which also serves bordering neighborhoods. Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Rutgers University’s Biomedical and Health Sciences have campuses here.
Residents of this walkable community (its only 1.59 square miles!) enjoy five community parks and playgrounds, and some impeccable restaurants like Casa D’Amico Italian and the 24-hour Stratford Diner. Big Timber Creek is just steps away and is the ideal spot for fishing and birdwatching -- more than 15 songbirds can be spotted in and around the watershed. As for your daily commute, hop on Route 30 to get to the New Jersey Turnpike and I-295.
