Property Ratings at Brooklyn West Apartments
I love my apartment and always get compliments about how spacious and nice it is when I have friends or family visit! It's the nicest apartment I've ever lived in. Some of my favourite features are the big walk-in closet, the good sized storage unit, the big balcony (South facing so I get lots of sun to grow vegetables and flowers in the summer), and new appliances. Additionally, there is a gym that has basic equipment and a community BBQ area that is great to use during the summer. The rental cost is reasonable for quality of the apartment. Views are also beautiful, as I get a panoramic mountain view from my apartment. Hoping rent does not increase too much over the years, as I would love to stay here as long as possible. Highly recommend Brooklyn West. The staff here are also excellent, particularly the rental manager and the maintenance staff. I never have to wait long when I submit a maintenance request and the maintenance manager is very kind and sociable.

Love it here! The only thing I am really missing is a garbage disposal. Besides that, I absolutely love my place! I’ve got plenty of room and quality furnishings all over the apartment.

Living on the top floor on a corner unit you just about don't hear anything. Being on a higher level there are some great views as well. I think we've been ruined (in a good way) and won't want any other unit.

We have lived here almost 1 year and plan on renewing our lease, the apartment is very comfortable with nice fixtures and appliances, some apartments actually have fenced in little yards which is super cool! The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, safe and well maintained. The staff have always been very kind and responsive. Maintenence has always been very quick, and does the job right the first time! Pet friendly but they don't have a fenced dog area. There isn't any playground equipment for kids, so our children usually just ride bikes around the side walk and play with other neighborhood kids. We have had issues with our downstairs neighbors a few times but have been resolved with no further issues. So far it has been a good living experience, especially for apartment living.

We were enjoying our apartment until new tenants moved in upstairs and have had to file multiple noise complaints. There has been no resolution of the situation yet. Would give our apartment five stairs if it wasn't for our current situation, but the quiet hours aren't being enforced. We're still waiting to be able to get a good nights sleep again.

It’s a nice apartment, though I would highly suggest not moving in during the summer as the prices are MUCH higher compared to the winter prices. If you move in, I highly suggest being incredibly thorough when initially checking for existing damage as there are many places you can miss.

The tenant portal is unreliable and cause for much frustration including, especially, incorrect accounting for calculations of monthly rent and fees. The numbers don't match up even between the tenant account by two different room mates and the office has yet another set of numbers to go by. Time is wasted and frustration generated because one must devote time to resolve the issues the raised. You can't ignore it because late fees are added (that the office will retract, but the portal doesn't reflect. it, so everyone has a different set of numbers). The difference in amounts is not insignificant. We write checks for our rent because the portal terms of service provide that the third party handling the matters has full access to your bank account information, not just for the transaction, but your entire bank account deposits and debits (checks, ATM, withdrawals), everything. The terms, if you agree to do it electronically, provide they can sell all of your banking information!

It’s been great living here so far. I barely hear the neighbors and the people I’ve met so far a really nice. The only thing is that I went to check my mail for the first time yesterday and it was all for the previous tenant.

Love our apartment layout. It's very functional for being a one bedroom. And now that it's cold out it's been great being able to use the gym they provide. So far everyone has been polite and friendly. Sometimes things get noisy but it hasn't been terrible. That's normal with so many people living in close proximity.

I love my apartment and the surrounding area. All the stores are easily accessible. The building is fairly quiet and so far, quite safe. I've only lived here for 6 months.

Love our apartment. Most people are friendly. Maintenance is awesome and office staff very helpful. Location is perfect as near stores we shop at.

This apartment complex is perfect! The spaces are quite nice and I feel safe in the neighborhood. We chose the one bedroom, one bathroom complex and it includes plenty of space for our items.

I've been living here almost a year and love it so far! Great neighbourhood, and plenty of nearby green space for my dog! The folks that live here are kind and friendly people, the maintenance crew is top notch, I have all new appliances and a great space here that works well for me as a student. I've never had such new and nice appliances or a walk-in closet with so much space and storage for my things... it's so nice living here. Very happy with Brooklyn West!

Really enjoyable haven’t had any problems with any other resident the kiddos love being here and have made friends and Halloween was great and enjoyable

Liviing it up love the atmosphere of the property and the people around me everyone gets along and it’s nice seeing kiddos love it and have made lots of friends it’s not to far from the school nor the park

It’s a peaceful and diligent place to live and raise a family. Seems like the Brooklyn west is always available to help you out no matter what it is. It’s close to the school so ur kids can walk and with walking just know it’s a great neighborhood and respectable people
