Matterport 3D Tours

This single-floor space is defined by a standout rooftop presence anchored by a weathered, industrial-era water tower rising prominently above the surrounding roofline. The water tower, mounted on a sturdy latticed iron frame, showcases a patinated metal tank that speaks to the building's historical character and adds a strong architectural focal point to the exterior. The rooftop area features open railing systems that frame the perimeter, offering views of the surrounding neighborhood and distant hillside terrain visible on the horizon. The elevated outdoor setting benefits from abundant natural light, with the wide-open sky creating a bright, airy atmosphere throughout the day. The structural elements of the water tower — including its cross-braced support legs and tension cables — contribute a rugged, utilitarian aesthetic that contrasts with the lighter tones of the building facade. The adjacent rooftop space provides a functional platform that balances industrial heritage with practical outdoor utility. The overall ambiance of this space is one of character-rich industrial charm, where historic infrastructure meets open-air exposure, making it a visually distinctive and memorable environment.

This distinctive courtyard space masterfully blends historic industrial character with functional outdoor living. The most striking architectural feature is the full-height exposed brick wall, which anchors the space with a warm, textured backdrop that speaks to the building's heritage. A classic sliding barn door in a muted olive-green finish provides both a functional and decorative element along the brick facade.

Overhead, a bold black steel bridge spans the upper level, connecting balconies equipped with iron railings — adding vertical drama and a sense of depth to the courtyard. Multi-pane windows on the upper and lower levels frame views into the surrounding interior spaces, filling the courtyard with ambient light.

The ground level is finished with large-format stone-toned tiles, creating a clean and durable surface suited for outdoor use. At the center of the courtyard, a round glass-top table surrounded by wicker chairs provides a comfortable seating arrangement, ideal for casual gatherings or quiet relaxation. The plastered yellow-toned walls on the opposing side contrast warmly against the raw brick, softening the industrial aesthetic.

Together, these elements create a well-defined, enclosed outdoor area that balances historic charm with a welcoming atmosphere. This fitness center combines an industrial aesthetic with a fully functional workout environment. The space features exposed brick walls, polished concrete ceilings with visible ductwork, and warm hardwood flooring that together create a modern, urban atmosphere. Pendant lighting fixtures are suspended from the ceiling, complementing the natural light that floods in through a bank of large windows fitted with horizontal blinds — providing both brightness and adjustable privacy during workouts.

The cardio section is well-appointed with multiple elliptical trainers and at least one treadmill equipped with a digital console, offering users a range of aerobic training options. A dedicated free weights area includes a barbell rack with weight plates and a flat bench, catering to strength training needs. Exercise mats are laid out on the floor to support stretching, yoga, or floor-based workouts. A wall-mounted flat-screen television adds an entertainment element to the space.

The open layout ensures ample room to move freely between stations. The exposed brick accent wall adds character and warmth, balancing the utilitarian feel of the overhead mechanical systems. Overall, this fitness center delivers a clean, organized, and motivating environment well-suited for a broad range of exercise routines. This 1,030 square foot fitness center, located at 698 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Macon, GA, showcases a perfect blend of modern functionality and industrial aesthetics. The space boasts high ceilings with exposed ductwork and pendant lighting, creating an open, airy atmosphere. Large windows flood the area with natural light, offering views of the surrounding cityscape.

The facility is divided into distinct zones for various workout routines. The cardio area is equipped with state-of-the-art machines, including treadmills and ellipticals. A separate strength training section features free weights and resistance machines. The center also includes a multipurpose area with a ping pong table, ideal for relaxation or team-building activities.

The interior design incorporates a mix of materials, with polished hardwood floors contrasting against white painted and exposed brick walls. Accent walls feature eye-catching designs, adding visual interest to the space. Modern amenities such as wall-mounted TVs and a sound system enhance the workout experience.

Overall, this fitness center provides a comprehensive and stylish environment for health and wellness, catering to diverse exercise preferences in a contemporary, urban setting. This 750 square foot space, located at 698 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Macon, GA, showcases a remarkable blend of historic charm and modern design. The single-floor layout is characterized by its striking exposed brick walls, which lend an industrial-chic ambiance to the interior. The space boasts impressively high ceilings, enhancing the sense of openness and grandeur.

A standout feature is the indoor courtyard, an unexpected oasis within the building. This area is adorned with ambient string lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The courtyard is furnished with multiple seating arrangements, including round tables and chairs, perfect for gatherings or casual meetings.

Large windows and glass doors allow natural light to filter in, while also offering views of the surrounding areas. The flooring appears to be polished concrete or large format tiles, adding to the space's contemporary feel. Modern black-framed windows and doors provide a stark contrast against the rustic brick walls.

The versatile open floor plan suggests this space could be ideal for a variety of uses, from a trendy restaurant or café to a unique office or retail environment. The combination of historic architectural elements with modern amenities creates a truly distinctive atmosphere in the heart of Macon.

Neighborhood

Downtown Macon is probably best known as the home of Mercer University. But there's much more to this historic, Southern gem than that -- Downtown Macon is home to a variety of unique museums, several Antebellum Homes, and the state's oldest church. Macon, nicknamed "The Heart of Georgia" because of its central location, began with Fort Benjamin Hawkins in 1809. Some of the historic homes include the impressive Hay House, built in 1855. The Italian Renaissance Revival mansion is open for tours as well as a popular location for weddings. The Cannonball House and Museum, built in 1853, is the only house in Macon to be hit by a cannonball during the Civil War.

Located along the Ocmulgee River, Downtown Macon is as picturesque as it is historic. It is also a college town, so you'll discover a variety of funky shops, art galleries, coffee shops, and restaurants.
